A good thing made better
Optimised mounting and additionally safety functions – these are the main
characteristics of the new JUNG SCHUKO® socket 1520. JUNG has increased
the advantages for the electrician considerably.
Amongst others these advantages simplify the installation: First of all the compact
design of the socket with a good view into the wall box secondly the unitary
PZ-screw heads for the cover plate and the claws and last but not least the
containment of the claws protects the cables from getting damaged. Additional
safety is ensured due to the earthing of the supporting frame, claws, earth handle
and claw screws. In addition the guide rills in the base serve for a proper direction
of the cable; the cable is protected from getting damaged by the containment of
the claws. The supporting frame of the SCHUKO® socket is zinc-magnesiumgalvanized which ensures a high protection against corrosion. The JUNG
SCHUKO® socket also fulfils the requirements of the strict Dutch standard TNO.

The JUNG eNet is the smart bidirectional radio system to control lighting, blinds and shutters.
Ideally suited for upgrading, it provides intelligent networking and central control of the building
functions. In the process, it is characterised by fast installation, simple operation, high flexibility
and future-proofing. With eNet, it is so easy to network building technology, to integrate lights and
blinds into scenes and to operate them conveniently by means of various controllers. Using the
eNet Server even via a monitor or on a mobile device via a tablet or a smartphone. Setup and
planning can also be done quickly and easily. The option of setting up by push-button that is
known from Radio Management and has proven its worth continues to be supported here.

The eNet Server
Convenient commissioning, visualisation and control
The eNet Server is the intelligent control centre of the system. The commissioning, programming
and control of the eNet components and networking of the entire building technology is done with
it. Numerous additional features such as a timer with astro-function and practical logic modules
round out the concept. Access via Web applications: Full functionality and networking with intuitive
operation by a PC, tablet or smartphone.
Commissioning and programming are very convenient thanks to the built-in planning software eNet
Connect. Device, function and installation location assignment can be done conveniently from a
monitor using Drag & Drop – even in offline mode. It is of course possible to document and edit
projects that had already been created.
All the functions at a glance: Thanks to the visualisation program eNet Home (displayed in the
uniform JUNG GUI) that is integrated into the eNet Server, control of the eNet system is simply
intuitive. It can of course be adapted to meet individual requirements. It can be operated from a
computer, tablet or smartphone with maximum convenience.

The JUNG eNet transmitter
Energy sensors
The voltage and current are measured to monitor energy consumption via
the eNet Server using the energy sensors. Display is done via eNet Home.
Wall transmitter
The 1 to 4-channel wall transmitter can interact with all the actuators in the system. The commands to control
lights and blinds are transmitted by radio, including scene functions. Operation is done via large buttons, and
LEDs display the status feedback.
The buttons can be designed individually with images, symbols and text with laser engraving, using the
Graphic Tool. This supports a clear assignment of functions.

Unbreakable material, new colour
Striking shapes in thermoplastic JUNG is setting new accents with A creation made
of unbreakable material. There is a requirement for components made of unbreakable
material in electrical installations especially in the case of construction specifications
issued in the public sector. JUNG has met these requirements with A creation in an
especially elegant form.
The new colour variant of matt anthracite thus follows current trends in modern
architecture. The matt colour not only provides a visual highlight but also makes a
convincing impression due to its high-quality feel. In addition, the thermoplastic
version of A creation is also available in the timeless colours of black and white,
both glossy.
The new A creation variants are not only especially resistant to external influences
but also blend in seamlessly as a matter of course into the clear look of the range.
On request, you can of course combine glass and thermosetting plastic frames
with the well known A creation.

The optionally black or white display of the Smart Radio makes an especially good
impression in combination with the coloured A creation glass frame. It can of course
be combined perfectly with all the further frames of the A range.
In accordance with the modular system, the Smart Radio and loudspeakers can also
be installed separately if desired. The soft lines of the CD frame ensure a harmonious
appearance.

Elegant wall mounting radio with touch display
Switch format and touch display with glass cover: The new Smart Radio with stereo sound is a
highlight in design and function. The display in black or white has intuitive shortcut functionalities
for alarm clock, sleep timer and favourites functions. In addition, the brightness of the display and
the buttons can be set separately for radio operation or night mode. In night mode the display
and buttons are completely darkened, and for that reason the new radio is also perfectly suited
for installation next to the bed. RDS operation, satellite and AUX inputs round out the list of
features. Of course, this new JUNG radio has the accustomed top sound quality that is assured
by the loudspeakers with built-in bass reflex tubes.
In the design of the LS 990 Classic, the Smart Radio and loudspeakers have a unique
elegance, whether in a single or multiple frame. The other frame variants of the LS range
naturally set highlights.

Room temperature
Automatic temperature control and plain text display
JUNG is expanding its Temperature Management range with the new room temperature controller
with display. In the Standard and Universal versions this regulates the room temperature automatically and on a timed basis to adapt to the preferred form of heating for the individual daily situations.
This not only optimises convenience, but also saves energy.
The large white illuminated display allows a clear visible plain text display for intuitive operation
and display of the current temperature and program. The Universal version has a time display and
preset timer programs in addition, and these can be adapted individually as required. Moreover,
automatic summer/winter time changeover, a weekly and daily program, a holiday function via date
input and a short-time timer for hourly temperature changes round out the convenience features.
A floor thermostat is built in as well. In both versions, standard and universal, the programming is
done directly at the control unit.

wide variety of materials, colours and shapes of this design range ensure that the new temperature controller can be
perfectly integrated in visual terms into the existing electrical installation.

With 12 year battery life
Effective warning against smoke and fire is now networked as well: The new radio smoke alarm
devices for ceiling installation have all the well known product characteristics of the “classical”
JUNG smoke alarm device. A 12 year battery life and the rapid and dirt-free installation with
the certified magnet-adhesive system are assured as well as a matter of course.
The radio version of the smoke alarm device with repeater function works on the frequency of
868.3 MHz (FSK protocol), with a range of 400 m (±10 %; in the open air). A maximum of 15
smoke alarm devices can be networked per group; there is no limit on the number of groups.
For example, it is practical to use them as a networked community group in the stairwell of an
apartment block. Up to 16 groups/apartments can be assigned.
Whether a detached house or an apartment block, the
radio smoke alarm devices networked together reliably
provide alarms everywhere.

The alarm devices for ceiling mounting combine leading edge bi-sensor processor technology
(smoke and heat) with compact case dimensions and an attractive appearance. The entire lower
housing cover serves as a test/stop button. This ensures easy handling. Reliable functionality is
assured by the built-in lithium battery that lasts for 12 years. An important advantage is rapid and
dirt-free installation: The smoke alarm device can be installed very easily without elaborate drilling
by using the certified magnet-adhesive system.

Controls with a new design
New control units in the 24 V multi-wire system: The new F 50 sensors in the design of the AS, A,
CD and LS ranges make a convincing impression through their homogeneous surface appearance,
thanks to the recessed buttons. The choice of a transparent or coloured labelling field, coloured
LEDs that display the current status and operation as well as the illuminated labelling area all round
off the design concept. Depending on the model, the labelling fields can be customised with laser
engraving, colour printing using the JUNG Graphic Tool.
As usual, lighting, blinds and shutters can be conveniently controlled at the press of a button with
the new 24 V push-button in combination with the JUNG relay and dimming station. Alternatively, it
can also be integrated into any other control system with a control voltage of a maximum of 24 V,
such as a PLC controller, for example.

Hotel display
Communication between guest and hotel staff
JUNG has managed to optimise the communication between the hotel guest
and staff in a very convenient way with the new hotel display in the design of
the LS range.
The hotel display consists of a version for use outside at the hotel room and
a second version for use within the hotel room. The corridor element acts as
a service and display unit, combining a doorbell with “Do not disturb” and
“Make up room” announcements. Using coloured LEDs this communicates to
the hotel personnel whether the room can be cleaned. In the room, the inside
unit enables the guest to trigger the instructions „Do not disturb“ or „Make up
room“ with a 2-gang switch.

This new and convenient communication unit has been supplemented
with the triple-tone signal in switch design. This is installed in the
room and looks like a loudspeaker, and it provides the acoustic signal
that the bell button has been triggered. The volume and tone can be
adjusted as required. The hotel display inside and corridor elements
and the triple-tone signal are installed in a standard flush-mounted
wall box. This makes the devices ideal for retrofitting.

WLAN Access Point
Space-saving and secure
The WLAN access point for wall mounting serves as the interface for communication
devices in the network. This allows quick access to the Internet in each room in a
space-saving way. Whether for a computer, laptop or tablet – this option opens up
more space.
The range of the WLAN can thus be adapted to the conditions of the room and
limited to it. As a result, this produces powerful room radio cells that offer the maximum radio bandwidth within the room and also emit little radiation due to the low
power drawn. Employing the versatile JUNG design, the Access points for flushmounting can thus be integrated seamlessly into the existing electrical installation.
The JUNG WLAN Access point is available in two variants:

WLAN Access point for with AC 230 V~ terminal: The device is connected to the
power cable for installation in a flush-mounted wall box. In this version the device
can be used as an Access point, Client, Repeater or Bridge.
WLAN Access point PoE: The main advantage of this Power over Ethernet variant
is that no additional 230 V power supply is required.
If networking cables have already been laid the WLAN Access point in both versions can simply replace an existing data connection socket and is thus ideal for
retrofitting. Thanks to the sleek flush-mounting it blends in harmoniously into the
surroundings without appearing obtrusive in the room.

Media converter POF
Fast data transmission, simple installation
JUNG is presenting a secure form of network connection and fast data transmission
with the 1gang and 2-gang POF media converters. They provide advantages in all
cases where the distribution of large amounts of data is required within a network –
from the office to the private media centre. POF (Polymer Optical Fibre) is a form of
fibre optic cable made of plastic that is primarily used for data transmission. The
advantages of POF are – in the same way as for glass fibre – their low weight, their
high degree of flexibility and their insensitivity to electromagnetic interference.

In practice, transmission speeds of around 100 Mbit/s over a
cable length of 30 m can be obtained with POF. In addition to
fast data transmission, the primary advantage of POF is easy
installation. The diameter of the core is around 0.06–1 mm,
ideal for the use of simple plug connections. Furthermore, the
splicing procedures that are frequently used to connect glass
fibre cables and the associated unnecessarily high costs can
be dispensed.

Embossed symbols
High-quality marking in aluminium and stainless steel
Product marking with a new level of quality aluminium and stainless steel rockers in the LS range
with the embossed symbols “Light”, “Bell” and “Door” and 2-gang rockers with arrow symbols.
This high quality form of marking is not only very attractive to the eye and to the touch but also
resists being rubbed away and is therefore secure in the long term against being worn away by
frequent use. Additional benefit: The embossed symbols makes these palpable, which makes
identification easier for visually-impaired people. The material properties of aluminium and
stainless steel underscore this effect.
The new rockers with embossed symbols are ideal for use in the entrance areas and hallways
of apartment buildings, and also in buildings that are heavily used by the general public, such
as hotels and office complexes.

Les Couleurs® Le Corbusier
Le Corbusier is one of the most significant architects
of the 20th century. Colour design was an important
theme for him. Inspired by the colours of nature, he
developed a unique colour system based on two
impressive colour keyboards. With its series of subtle
shades, the first palette of 43 tones, from 1931, above
all reflects naturalness. Le Corbusier completed his
colour system in 1959 with 20 additional, bold and
dynamic tones. Due to the unlimited propensity for
harmonious combinations of the 63 colours, as well
as an impressive tonal depth, Le Corbusier’s colour
keyboard is still an inspiration today.

LS 990 Showing one’s colours
Classic rectilinear construction in the Bauhaus tradition meets a colour keyboard of 63 tones:
LS 990 in the Les Couleurs® Le Corbusier colours is setting new tones. As an international premier,
JUNG is now presenting its classic line of switches in the entire palette of this colour system.
Something remarkable: every one of the 63 colours can be arbitrarily, yet harmoniously combined
with another from the system.
In addition to switches, power outlets, rotary touch dimmers, JUNG also offers its F 50 KNX push
button sensors in the Les Couleurs® Le Corbusier colours. Operational elements for controlling
KNX room functions and multimedia have thereby been integrated with the unique colour system.
Thanks to JUNG’s modular design system, any LS 990 article in the Les Couleurs® Le Corbusier
colours can of course be combined with any component of the LS series.

KNX Smart Panel 5.1
Compact control centre for wall installation
The new KNX Smart Panel 5.1 for flush-mounting is the successor to the Facility colour touch
panel IP. The functions can be controlled conveniently by touch using the coloured 5“ TFT
display with a 4:3 format. The intuitive controller is supported by the graphic user interface. In
addition to its control program it also includes a TCP/IP interface that allows remote access for
visualisation via a Client.
Visualisation and operation
Visualisation and operation are take place via the uniform JUNG user interface that allows logical
and intuitive regulation of the various functions. Alternatively or in addition, a user interface that
can be structured as desired can be used, which permits the implementation of an individual form
of display.

3.5 and Facility Pilot Navigator 2.1 new features are available that optimise the planning, configuration
and operation.

Intuitive, dynamic control of light with Colour-Control:
visualised and operated with Smart Displays, tablets or
smartphones, atmospheric light scenes are created - from
simple colour changes to multimedia application. For this,
the Smart Pilots are compatible with the colour lights from
any manufacturer.

Adjust the brightness and colour temperature of warm or
neutral over to daylight white with Tunable White Control:
Including static lighting scenes with smooth transitions or
individual light curves - monitored and controlled via Smart
Displays, smartphones or tablets. Control the ideal white
light in the room.
New Timer
JUNG Smart Pilots
Pre-configured timer for HTML visualisations: Activation
and deactivation of the weekly timer and the setting of
individual switching times - the user can perform
independently from now on. Easy and intuitive via touch.
With capacitive touch screens
Impressive innovations for the JUNG Smart pilots in operation and design: The
capacitive touch screen and the design cover made of black glass. Thanks to
this new and especially sensitive surface the function can be triggered just at
the touch of a finger. This provides optimal operating convenience. And the new
design cover throughout that is made of black glass with aluminium clips also
lends the unit a truly elegant look.
Display energy consumption
In connection with the KNX Energy Sensor the energy
consumption of up to four connected loads can be displayed
on a screen. The display is a bar graph; possible are an hour,
day, month and year display. By wiping motion on the touch
screen, the history is retrieved. Thus, the user keeps track, can
compare consumption and identify potential savings.

Web radio and MP3 player built in
The new KNX Multiroom amplifier with web radio and built-in MP3 player: The 19” rack with a direct
KNX connection has four low-frequency inputs (Cinch) for playback devices such as hi-fi systems,
DVD players and computers, and routes the stereo sound to four or eight loudspeaker outputs as
required. Only the loudspeaker wiring is required in an existing KNX system.

The web radio of the Multiroom amplifier can directly select 16 radio stations. It can be configured
very conveniently using the Web Front End. The built-in MP3 player provides music data from an

The desired temperature regime is set from the following operation modes as required: comfort,
standby, night operation or frost protection – depending on the presence or absence of the
inhabitants of the house.
Temperature regulation in a new design
The KNX room temperature controller with its comfortable single-room temperature control is new
to the F 50 range. Its cover, with self-explanatory symbols and coloured status and operation LEDs,
makes it easy to use. The measurement of the room temperature in comparison with the individually
adjustable desired temperature, along with the various operation modes (comfort, standby, night
operation and frost protection) ensures an ideal and healthy room temperature. Just like with the F 50
push-button sensors, the new room temperature controller can also be connected to the extension
module for a flexible extension of its functions.

Measurement and monitoring of energy consumption
The KNX DALI Gateway Plus connects a digital DALI lighting system with the KNX installation. In this way the room-related lighting control can be conveniently incorporated into the
higher-level KNX building management.
Effective energy management: The new KNX energy sensor provides specific measurement
and monitoring of the energy consumption. The compact unit for rail mounting can also be
retrofitted to an existing KNX system and has three channels for the connection of consumers. The voltage, current, effective power and reactive power can be measured for each
channel; the data is sent to the KNX bus for evaluation and visualisation cyclically or when
there is a change.
In addition to switching and dimming 64 lights in a maximum of 32 light groups, 16 pre-programmed light scenes may be stored and retrieved. Moreover, the gateway provides effect
light control which allows lights or light groups to be included in dynamic light moods. This
allows brightness scenarios to be implemented across DALI groups or single DALI units or
scenes. In addition, the Gateway can be incorporated into DALI emergency lighting systems.
The gateway is capable of incorporating DALI lighting control standard operating units
according to IEC 62386-101 (DALI) and IEC 62386-102 (control gear) as emergency lighting
in centrally powered emergency lighting systems. A further plus: the simplified online and
offline planning. This is beneficial when the gateway is configured before the DALI system
start-up. The Gateway can be configured via a plug-in embedded in the ETS.

The visualisation of the received data, hence the energy monitoring, is done on the JUNG
KNX Smart Displays. The values can be saved over months and years and shown in an easy
to understand form as clear graphics and statistics. This makes it possible for the user to
spot any possible ways of making savings and to correspondingly optimise the use of energy.
It is easy to make marked savings of energy in both private and commercial settings.

Compact shape and specific detection
Sleek, compact, precise: These properties characterise the new JUNG KNX presence detector
mini Standard and Universal with built-in bus coupling unit. The compact shape makes installation
easier. Depending on the circumstances in the room, this gives a choice between installation in
a false ceiling and surface mounting or installation in a standard flush-mounted socket.
A further advantage of this shape is the specific detection, e.g. for workplaces in offices, in entrance
areas or hallways in commercial and private buildings. In addition, the Universal unit has 5 functional blocks that work independently of one another. Each functional block may be configured as
desired for use with the presence detector, automatic switch, or signal mode operation. The unit
may be optionally set up and operated for the Universal version using an IR remote control.
The KNX presence detector mini is available in three forms for installation: installation in a false ceiling, ceiling installation,
installation a standard flush-mounted socket or surface-mounting. In this way the type of installation can be matched perfectly
to suit any kind of room situation.
KNX brightness controller
The compact solution for automatic lighting control: Using the KNX flush-mounting brightness
controller with built-in brightness sensor, the lighting can be regulated in the indoor area independently of the daylight. There are also three installation options for this device, depending on
the requirements: Installation in a false ceiling, surface-mounting and installation in a standard
flush-mounted wall box.

All the main sensors for the collection and evaluation of meteorological data are combined in a
compact shape: This is the new JUNG KNX weather station with built-in bus coupling unit. Its
main area of application is automatic, weather-independent shading regulation for façade protection that has now been made even more secure and convenient. The shading of individual façade
segments is of course possible as well.

The collection of a total of 12 meteorological parameters characterises the device. Wind speed,
wind direction, brightness in four directions, darkening, global solar radiation, precipitation,
relative/absolute humidity and air pressure are reliably measured by the built-in sensors. A GPS/
GLONASS receiver for date/time and an astro-function to determine the position of the sun
optimise the features of the weather station. It is thus not necessary to set the time manually.
The weather station will be installed with the associated fastening arm at the installation pole. This
ensures optimal collection and measurement of the weather data. Optionally, the weather station
can also be mounted on the façade via the fastening arm.

To this end the DAI laboratory of the Technical University of Berlin has developed an overall
management tool that permits home networking systems to be put together in a modular way.
The core is the Home Control Centre. This offers the user central access to his networked home.
An intuitive user interface shows all the connected devices/systems and provides configuration
and control options. Now here the innovative JUNG solutions become a constituent part of
Connected Living: In this way the KNX protocol is incorporated into the Connected Living Bus
via the KNX actuators. Here the JUNG user interface is also made available as an application
and it is possible to control all the KNX room functions via the Home Control Center – if desired,
combined with systems from other makers. The Connected Living software can run as of today
on the hardware of the KNX Facility Pilot Server. Thus no further hardware is required to use
Connected Living in an installed KNX system. In addition, development work is being done on
using the JUNG KNX controls in future as interaction devices for the Home Control Center. Thus,
for example, the Connected Living user interface is displayed on the touch screen of the Smart
Control IP and hence overall control of all the systems that have been connected together in
Connected Living is possible.

Networking concept for the Smart Home
Open for futuristic solutions in its usual way, JUNG has also shown its commitment to the Colognebased EEBus Initiative e.V. The EEBus considered itself as a standardised and consensus-oriented
networking concept of Smart Grid und Smart Home.
Connected Living
Intelligent home networking comprehensively thought out
Show initiative and develop active solutions – a way of doing things that fits in with the philosophy
of JUNG. For that reason the company is so far the sole maker of KNX technology to be a member
of Connected Living. The Berlin-based Connected Living e.V. is a platform for the development and
promotion of solutions that are not manufacturer-specific for intelligent home networking.

To this end the initiative has made it its task to network leading companies and associations in
the German and international energy, telecommunications and electrical sectors. The aim here is
to create a secure, efficient superstructure for the future for smart networks. And this through an
all-encompassing, universal and open concept. Hence the EEBus is not limited to use in the Smart
Grid and Smart Home but also serves as a “translator” between all the smart devices. Through its
structure it is open for future developments and modular upgrading. JUNG is bringing itself into this
concept with intelligent solutions from the KNX system. In addition to increased convenience this
smart building technology is above all future-proof. This also means that JUNG has fundamentally
understood the ideas behind the “Smart Home” as a comprehensive topic across all the various
sectors in order to provide the best possible benefits for the user. It is possible to make an effective

and visualisation solutions such as Smart Displays and Smart-Control IP. Because in connection
with the EEBus it will be possible to display and evaluate the energy consumption of all the

Individual product creation
Individual product creation as you wish: Be it for the whole building or just one part of it, switches
and more can be freely configured with JUNG. Symbols and texts for allocating functions, your own
company logo, ornaments or pictures – there are virtually no limits to the ideas you can have. There
are two different processes available from JUNG to customise your requirements: top-quality laser
engraving and abrasion-resistant colour printing. Additionally, distinct designation of labelling areas
can be achieved by carrying out with the labelling online.
JUNG products can be individualised online via the Graphic Tool. They can be designed as you
please via the intuitive user interface. This is graphically oriented and is displayed clearly on any
PC, laptop or tablet; the user only needs a Web browser. Thanks to the logically structured process
for use, working with the Graphic Tool quickly and surely leads to the desired results. Advantage:
The user can see at once during the design process what his finished JUNG product will look like –
on the basis of: What you see is what you get! The designed products and project management
are likewise stored online. A shopping basket function rounds out the tool.

The radio transmitter sends a radio telegram after a push-button is pr essed.
The telegram is understood and evaluated by all the radio r eceivers of the Radio Management system.
Possible modes: on/off, dimming, light scenes, central off (to be selected by micro switches).
Range: approx. 30 m (CD ranges and LS ranges), 100 m (AS 500 / A ranges) (free field)
Battery operation with included lithium button cells (AS 500 / A 500, 1 x CR2032
and CD ranges / LS ranges, 2 x CR2016 ). Battery life: approx. 3 – 5 years.
Installation is carried out with the appr opriate frame directly onto a level surface (plaster, wood, glass,
mirror or flush box) using adhesive or scr ews. Two opposite keys are assigned to one channel.
