Three connector harness kit used for e-manage Ultimate.

◎ Supplement Harness (15901501)
Harness that is required if upgrading from the e-manage (blue) to e-manage Ultimate.
Connector 1 and 2 are the same for e-manage and e-manage Ultimate. The e-manage
Ultimate has a third connector which is this supplement harness.
◎ Pressure Sensor with Pressure Sensor Harness (16401301 & 16401406)
Used for monitoring manifold pressure with the e-manage system. This does not replace the
factory sensor, but is used only for tuning the e-manage unit.
Sensor is a 0-5 volt sensor and
can read up to 3 bar.
◎ Profec e-01 to e-manage Ultimate pressure sensor harness(15900543)
Used to allow the e-manage Ultimate to monitor manifold pressure through the e-01 pressure
sensor reading.
Connects the e-01 Center Unit to the e-manage Ultimate “OPTION” port.

◎ A/F Sensor Harness (15900912)
Used to connect a wide band O2 sensor 0-5 volt analog signal to the e-manage “Option” port.
Used for data logging air fuel ratio while tuning with Support Tool.

1. e-manage Ultimate Ignition Adapter 1 (15921500)
Used to prevent a check engine light when wiring the Ignition Harness on the Nissan
NEO Straight Six (ER34, WGNC34)
2. e-manage Ultimate Ignition Adapter 2 (15931500)
Used t o prevent a check engine light and fuel cut due to wiring the e-manage ignition
harness. (Mitsubishi Lancer Evol ution – CT9 A).
3. e-manage Ultimate Ignition Adapter 3 (15951500)
Used to prevent a check engine light when wiring the Ignition Harness on the Acura NSX
(NA1)

4. Injector Adapter 1 (15901505)
Used t o prevent a check engine light when wiring the injector harness as add/subtract fuel
on four c ylinder mot ors onl y (Newer Mitsubish and Subaru).
5. Injector Adapter 2 (15901504) (included in units with serial number 4000 ~on)
Used t o prevent extremel y rich conditions when wiring the injectors harness as
add/subtract fuel.
6. Injector Adapter 3 for 4 cylinder (15901506)
Used t o prevent a check engine light when wiring the injector harness as add/subtract fuel
on four c ylinder mot ors (Older Mit sushi).
7. Injector Adapter 3 for 6 cylinder (15901506)
Used t o prevent a check engine light when wiring the injector harness as add/subtract fuel
on six c ylinder motors (Older Mitsushi).

8. O2 Sensor Adapter (15900908)
Used t o send a l ean O2 si gnal to the ECU, when the ECU is operating i n cl osed loop.
Designed for vehi cles that have a narrow band (0-1V) O2 sensor.
9. Knock Sensor Adapter (15900903)
Used for vehicles with very sensitive Knock Sensors. Designed to prevent Ignition
Timing retard fr om ECU’s that are t oo sensiti ve.
10. M SS Adapter (15900911)
Used t o monitor the Multi Switching System activat ion signal and retard/advance igniti on
timing when acti vat ed.

2. Injector Wiring
The e-manage Ultimate has up graded the inject or adj ustment feature. Now the injector pulse
wi dt h can be shortened b y the e-manage Ultimate i ntercepting the Injector pulse si gnal. Als o
group injection s ystems can be converted t o seq uential i nj ection.
※ Can be wired as add only (same as e-manage) or add/subtract fuel.

3. Sub Injector Wiring
Now the e-manage Ultimate can control up to 8 sub i nj ect ors.
4. Ignition Harness
Used t o adjust ignition timi ng b y intercepting ECU ignition p ulse.
The e-manage Ulti mate can also convert distributor type i gnition systems and waste spark
ignition systems to direct igniti on s ystem.

5. Idle Control
Designed for vehi cle that have rough idle due to removi ng the airflow meter or turning on the
A/C. Can onl y be used wit h solenoid t ype Idle Control Valves.
※ Must set jumper 16 t o OPEN.
6. Analog Input and Output
Can be used as a voltage clamp for anal og signals. Mai nly used for b oost li miter cut for
vehicles that have b ot h airflow meter and pressure sensor. Also can be used for throttle.

7. Vehicle Speed Sensor
Intercept vehicle speed signal for vehicle speed adjust ment map or remove speed limiter.
Can also wire inp ut signal onl y for data logging purpose.
8. Crank and Cam Signal
Spice into signals to receive crank and cam position signals.

9. Knock, Water Temp, Intake Temp Signal
Two channels are used to monitor factor y knock sensor, coolant temperat ure sensor, or intake
temperature sensor.
10. NVCS or Rela y switch wiring
Now e-manage Ultimate can activate NVCS without using NVCS adapter. Can also be used
as a ground switch for relays.

● Hardware Setup

Used to adj ust the circuits on t he e-manage hardware to match t he prop er application.
Remove the hardware from the case to adjust Jumpers.

e-manage Ultimate Original Features
SETTING
Airflow Output Map
Previously labeled ''Airflow Adjustment Map'' is now ''Airflow Output Map''. (#)This can now
used to eliminate the factory airflow meter. This is done by directly inputting voltage or
frequency in to this map.
Boost Limiter Cut
Anti Engine Stall Feature
The 8 adjustment cells are now upgraded to 16 cells, for even finer adjustment.

Injection Adjustment Map (1 and 2)
Fuel trimming in the previous system was achieved by adjusting the ''Airflow Adjustment Map''
which could also affect the ignition timing. The improved ''Injection Adjustment Map'' is used to
trim and add fuel directly by controlling the injector signal, therefor it will not affect the ignition
timing at all. (However with an internal jumper setting change, the system is still able to trim the
fuel by adjusting the airflow signal like the previous unit)
Acceleration Injection Map
Like the''Injection Adjustment Map'', the ''Acceleration Injection Map''can trim fuel by
controlling the injector signal. This is used if it is necessary to smooth rapid transitions to wide
open throttle.
Individual Cylinder Injection Adj. & Individual Cylinder Ignition Adj. Maps
It is possible to correct uneven combustion between cylinders, by fine tuning each individual
cylinder for more advanced tuning.
A/F Target Value Map (feedback tuning function)
By inputting target Air Fuel values in this map, ''e-mange Ultimate'' will automatically make
corrections to the ''Injection Map,'' if an A/F meter (*high quality) is connected to the Auxiliary
Output signal. This feature can shorten the tuning time.
Vehicle Speed Correction Map
Inconsistencies due to differences in vehicle speed (difference in load) can be corrected with this
map.
Coolant Temp Correction Map
When the ECU Coolant Temp Calibration does not match the e-manage's tuning, this map is
used to tune the system at various temperature ranges.
Intake Air Temp Correction Map
When the ECU Intake Air Temp Calibration does not match the e-manage's tuning, this map is
used to tune the system at various temperature ranges.
(#)This map is also be used when eliminating the airflow meter on a vehicle equipped with a
hotwire type airflow meter.

Rev Limiter Cut
For vehicles with a fuel cutting controlled rev limiter, this feature will drive the injectors past the
factory rev limiter.
*This feature will not work on vehicles with rev limiter controlled by ignition cut.
Ignition Adjustment Map (1 and 2)
The ''Ignition Adjustment Map'' can accurately advance ignition timing by controlling the crank
angle / cam angle signal.
Ignition Cut Feature
With the installation of a switch (in the ''ON'' position), ignition can be cut at a set RPM point.
A/T Shift Compensation Feature
On vehicles with Automatic Transmissions, ignition timing can be compensated at set shift-up
and shift-down points.
VTEC Output Map
This feature can be used to control VTEC or the O2 Sensor Adapter.
NVCS Control Map
NVCS (Nissan Valve Control System) can be controlled with out the need for NVCS Adapter 1.
Analog Output Map
This feature can be used to eliminate the factory boost cut function on vehicles that are equipped
with both an airflow meter
and a pressure sensor (i.e.: FC3S, Subaru).
Also, on some vehicles, the factory feedback range can be adjusted by outputting a corrected
throttle position signal.
Idle Stabilization Map
If the factory idle control valve is a solenoid type valve, this map can vary the valve's duration to
adjust the injection rate.
(#)This is used when eliminating the airflow meter.
Speed Limiter Cut Feature
This feature will eliminate the factory speed limiter. (May not work on some vehicles)

(Dip) Toggle Switch
4 different maps can be activated and de-activated using the dip switches on the front of the unit.
Data Log Features
*Data Logging
Samplings can be recorded at 20msec on up to different 8 channels on the unit itself and over 30
when using the included software. The data can be recorded even when the PC is not connected.
*The data recorded in the Real Time Display mode can now be save as TEXT file. Organizing
the data can simplified by opening the data in Excel and creating a graph.
Protect Feature
Each Map has the option to be password protected.
Serial port
External data (like ''GReddy Warning Meters'', and other future optional products) can be
monitored and recorded in real time through a data link cable.
Switch Port
''Data logging''and''Ignition Cut'' features can be activated with the use of an optional ''Remote
Switching System'' and
''Switching Harness''
Option 1 & Option 2
An additional''Option Connector'' is added to the previous''Pressure Connector.''
Now any two Options (like ''GReddy Pressure Sensor,''''GReddy Temp Sensor,''''Multi-Switching
System,'' A/F Meter, Auxiliary Switch, Factory Pressure Sensor, or Other Analog Input signal)
can be selected using the ''Option 1''and/or ''Option 2 ''ports.

Connecting to the Unit
The v-manage unit can communicate directly to the PC using a USB cable or can connect to the PC
through the e-manage Ultimate using the serial port.
When connecting to the e-manage Ultimate, the Front Panel Serial setting must be set to v-manage for
the PC to communicate with both the v-manage and e-manage Ultimate simultaneously.

Benefit from using v-manage
By using the v-manage you will be able to broaden the torque and horsepower band.
Since factory
ECUs must comply with emission standards, lower RPM range valve timing is not optimal.
The
v-manage unit will take full control of the valve timing system and allow you to bring out the full
potential of the engine.
