and self-proclaimed know it
all, secretly thought that she
was funny as a teenager. Her
obsession with stand up stayed
with her throughout college.
After graduating from The University of Georgia, she
dropped into an open mic and never looked back.
Once she stepped foot on stage, Mia realized that
comedy was her calling just as she had imagined as
a young girl.
Mia’s stage presence boasts of a charming, likeable,
“girl next door” that makes her audience feel as
though they have been friends with her for a lifetime. She has a knack for taking her viewpoint about
life and then going into a direction that people don’t
always expect.
Standing at 6’ tall with a smile that can mesmerize
any room, Mia Jackson’s ability to connect with audiences make her the comedian that she is today.
She’s been seen on Oxygen, TLC, BET/Centric and
Headline News and is versatile enough to perform
in any type of situation; from television, print, radio,
and of course...the stage. Mia Jackson is a name to
