Geno Delafose is the standard-bearer for traditional zydeco and has proven himself one of the most versatile
musicians in the South. He relies on his traditional Creole sensibility for guidance in music, and divides his time
between touring and operating his Double D Ranch outside of Eunice, deep in Southwest Louisiana's bayou country,
where he breeds cattle and raises quarter horses. Geno epitomizes this cultural tradition.
Main Show: Warm up with the Finalists of “The Last Couillon Standing” contest followed by the
hilarious comedy of Chad Hayes, Steve Verret, and headliner John Paul Morgan.
Chad Hayes An Arkansas native, Chad has spent time overseas in the Army and entertained our troops in the states. Chad
brings a perfect blend of humor and sarcasm to the stage. A 10 year veteran of the comedy circuit, he doesn't say anything
on stage he "can't say in front of his momma. "
Steve Verret As a stand-up comedian, Uncle Steve has worked with such comedy superstars as JAY LENO, JERRY
SEINFELD and ROBIN WILLIAMS (to whom he is most compared). A native of New Iberia, Louisiana, Uncle Steve
blends clean, family-style, high energy comedy with his famous “Clean Cajun Stories”, which are featured on his
successful Comedy CD, "Boudreaux and Me".
John Paul Morgan AKA "The RAGIN Cajun" To see him on stage is to watch the birth of a character. John has
performed at the prestigious Montreal Comedy Festival as well as comedy clubs across the United States. John is a
comedian and motivational speaker who travels around the country 40 weeks a year entertaining crowds and spreading the
Cajun Culture. In 2006, he made his first appearance at Cajun Comic Relief and is looking forward to returning in 2010!
