Knights Bobbleheads are available for graduation gifts for
$10. These heavy resin silver, white and dark green 9" high statuettes
stand on a tower that reads Richwoods High School. They are available in the front office, or from Ruth Lewis in Room 167 up until graduation day. The T-shirts and spirit wear will wear out, but these
won't!!
Madrigal Auditions will
be May 24th. You must
be a choir member and
signed up for choir next
year to audition.

Congratulations to the Richwoods
High School Step Team for placing 1st
in the 3rd Annual Dance and Step Competition. The Step Team had a near perfect
score!!!! Great Job RHS Step Team!!!! For
those interested in being on the Step Team,
tryouts will be held for current RHS students in May 2015. Please see Miss Butler
if you have questions!!
The black history
program was an
incredible success,
connecting past and
present with hope for the
future through a variety of
art forms. Students
amazed the crowd
through dance,
poetry, fashion, and of
course history.
Boys’ Basketball Senior Night 2015
Richwoods celebrated its Boys’ Basketball, Cheer,
Dance, Flag and Step team seniors with a farewell ceremony before the boys took on Peoria Notre Dame.
There were 25 seniors honored this year and 25 seniors that will surely be missed. Good Luck Seniors!

Please bring a copy of all of your scholarship and financial aid award
letters to Mr. McKenna in the counseling office. This includes award
letters from all schools where you have been accepted, even if you will
not attend. RHS students have been awarded MILLIONS of dollars in
recent years. We hope to surpass last years’ total and need your
information.

Parent University
Peoria Public Schools District 150 is looking to provide the opportunity for families to get a wide variety of
resources, job skill training, character building workshops, technology training, health classes, social service
resources, adult education, how to help student achievement, college preparation, and navigating the modern
school system.
The goal of Parent University is to get parents and families involved in education and to help close the information gap. We at District 150 want to provide as many resources to our families as possible. Parent University is an avenue to provide academic and social resources to all our families. We have many community partners that are involved that gladly share their time and resources at Parent University.
This free district-wide initiative is open to all parents and families. There will be hubs throughout the district
at which the Parent Universities will be conducted.
Peoria Public Schools Dist. 150 will be hosting Parent University for the
2014-2015 school year on the following dates:
