Due to the length of the prayer list it is being divided into a 2 week
rotation for the bulletin with a different group each week. If there happens to be any
names in the above list that should be removed, please contact the office. We would like to
keep the list of names to a 3 to 4 month timeframe.
MAINTENANCE FUND
A maintenance fund for the general upkeep of
the two churches has been approved by council.
Donations are accepted towards this project.
Please designate on the memo line of your check
or the envelope if you are contributing to the
maintenance fund.
All contributions that anyone can make to the
maintenance fund is greatly appreciated. We
have had to have them out to check on the air
conditioners and the sewage was not working at
the parsonage and had to have that opened up.
DREAM PROJECT PLEDGES
Please be sure that the monies
designated for the “Dream Project” are
clearly marked so they do not get
credited to the incorrect account.
On Sunday, June 26th we found water bubbling
up out of the ground indicating a leak in the water line from the church to the parsonage that
needs fixed. This may be the reason for our water bills being high. This leak did not make itself
visible until now. While they were working on
replacing the waterline the blower went out on
the air conditioner for the Sanctuary.; at this

The annual Amish trip this year will
be to the Nancy and Marvin Helmuth
Farm and is scheduled for October
18th, 2016. There is a minimum
number of reservations that can be
accepted. Details of the trip on another page. [A change of venue had
to be made due to the health of
Jonas Hershberger.]
FALL SPAGHETTI DINNER
The Spaghetti Supper for October will be held on
October 28, 2016. Keep Friday night open to enjoy a
delicious dinner. A “Silent Auction” and raffle may
once again be part of the activities.

ANOTHER AMISH HOME COOKIN’ TREAT
The “Activity Committee” has arranged for us to again experience a “Gastronomical
Treat” on Tuesday Evening, October 18, 2016, at 5:30 pm at the Farm of Nancy and
Marvin Helmuth.
The menu will include Broccoli Salad,
Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, Pan-Fried Chicken, Baked Steak,
Noodles, Green Beans, Fresh Baked Rolls, Spreads,
Black Raspberry Crisp with Ice Cream,
Coffee, Iced tea, and Lemonade.
The meal will be served “Family Style” and the cost will be $14.00
per person. Limit of 40 people.
