1. Introduction:
There is a high quality, distinctive, concise and functional 3-Axis Gimbal( 360 degree panning) available for
your DJI S800 and Streak 800 Hexacopters to carry professional cameras from GoPro to DSLR camera
size for professional aerial photography with amazing price! It is the “Lensman-18 Camera 3-Axis Gimbal”
which is designed and produced by Alware.
Made of High Quality Materials:
The gimbal is made of 3K Carbon Frames, 3K Carbon Booms and high quality Anodized CNC Aluminum
metal parts. These are the lightest and the strongest materials whose make the gimbal looks more
professional and valuable as well as stronger mechanism.
Continuous 360 Degree Panning:
Unlike others, Lensman-18 comes with all 3-Axis controllable movement at once including Tilt axis (0-90°) ,
Roll (±25°) , Pan (continuous 360°). You do not need to worried about to pay for the third axis especially
the most important continuous 360 degree panning axis in the future. This allows the camera operator
complete creative control in framing and camera movement. Careful attention that the landing gear will not
block the view of the camera lens in Lensman-18's design. This making smooth shooting in all directions
possible.

Easy and Rigid Mounting to the Aircraft:
This gimbal use a 5mm (2*2.5mm) thick 3K Carbon Frame which is super rigid to mount onto the bottom
gimbal plate of Streak 800 directly or to DJI S800's Mount Bio-pod with unique metal mounts. Please be
noted that Lensman-18 comes with no landing gear, since we will use the original Landing Gear from DJI
S800 or Streak 800 Hexacopter. This is more environmental friendly and allows you to get this professional
3-Axis gimbal with amazing price!
High Performance Metal Gear Digital Servos:
Servos are the heart of a gimbal. Lensman-18 use three pcs of 360 degree movement digital servos with
metal gears. Two of them is used with an external potentiometer to make the maximum range of the
movement for the gimbal. Together with POM M0.6 Main Gear and M0.6 Metal Servo Gear on the driving
axises, the precision of the gimbal movement can be highly increased.
Easy Assembly Steps:
All Lensman-18 gimbal will be assembled (99% complete) by well-trained technicians and checked
carefully before shipping. You will need only to put your own Laning Gear (from your DJI S800 or Streak
800 Aircraft) with four screws and also the electronic controllers to the Electronic Mount (included) on the
gimbal when you got the Kit. Clear instruction manual could be downloaded easily online.

2. ALLENS-18D Check List

3. Installation to DJI S-800
Assembly Steps:
Step 1.
Step 2.
Remove 6 M2.5 screws(circled above) from your
Insert 3pcs M2.5x16mm Hex Cap Screws into the
DJI 800 Main frame as to install the Carbon Battery Carbon Battery Mount.
Mount with Lensman-18. At the same time, all
accessaries and cable should put away from the
upper main frame of DJI 800.
Step 3.
Place 3pcs 3.5x7x9mm Nylon Rod onto the main
frame of DJI 800 as shown above.
Step 4.
Install the Carbon Battery Mount onto DJI 800.
(Apply little amount of Thread Locker when
assembly metal to metal parts.)
Step 6.
Repeat step 2-4 to install the other side of Carbon
Battery Mount onto DJI 800 main frame.
Step 7.
Stick 4pcs Battery Stand Dampers onto each
Carbon Battery Frame as to support the Batteries.

Step 8.
Complete installation of Carbon Battery Mount for
DJI. You will mount your two 6S Lipos on top of DJI
800 when flying with Lensman-18.
Step 9.
Take off the T-Frame Landing Gear Assembly from
your DJI 800 as to install it onto Lensman-18
Gimbal.

Close view of step 10.
Step 10.
Insert your T-Frame Landing Gear Assembly into
the Metal LG Mount on Lensman-18 and secure
with M3 screw with Self-Lock Nut. The Distance A
shown above is recommended to be set for 5mm.
Step 12.
Adjust the T-Frame Landing Gear Assemby as to
parallel with Lensman's body.
Step 13.
Repeat previous steps to install another side of
T-Frame Landing Gear Assemby.

Step 14.
Completed Lensman-18 Assembly with DJI 800
Landing Gear is shown above.
Step 16.
Two M3x8mm Screws was removed from the
Lensman's body.
Step 18.
Install the Carbon Fiber Gyro Mount to the Lensman
using Two M3x8mm Screws with M3 Self-Lock
Nuts.
Step 15.
Remove two M3x8mm Screw from the Lensman's
body as to install the Carbon Fiber Gyro Mount.
Step 17.
Prepare the Carbon Fiber Gyro Mount from the part
pack.
Step 19.
Remove the upper part of the Metal Mount on 3K
Carbon Fiber Gimbal Mount Assembly by loosing
8pcs M2.5x16mm Hex Cap Screws.

Step 20.
Completion after Step 19.
Step 21.
Place your DJI H-Frame onto the 3K Carbon Fiber
Gimbal Mount Assembly of Lensman-18.
Step 22.
Secure the H-Frame by using the upper part of the
Metal Mount with M2.5x16mm Hex Cap Screws.
(Apply little amount of Thread Locker when
assembly metal to metal parts.)
Step 23.
Complete installation of Lensman-18D and now you
can fly your DJI 800 with this professional 3-Axis
Gimbal. The Carbon Fiber Gyro Mount will be used
to mount gimbal stabilize gyro, second receiver and
battery to control the Lensman Gimbal as to provide
360 degree continuous panning.
