“To provide the youth of Attleboro the opportunity to participate in recreational and competitive soccer leagues by teaching and demonstrating soccer skills, sportsmanship, honesty, respect, and fair play.” Attleboro Youth Soccer Week 5 AYS vs. Mansfield at Gillette Stadium This Saturday, May 14th, is AYS vs. Mansfield night at Gillette. The first games are scheduled to start at 2PM and the last of our games are scheduled to start at 4:30PM. We are looking forward to seeing everyone there! We still have some unsold tickets for the Revolution game (start time of 7:30PM). If you are interested in purchasing tickers, please email Dave Soucy at [email protected] as there may still be a few cheaper tickets left! Player Evaluations Player evaluations will take place Tuesday May 31st, Wednesday June 1st, and Thursday June 2nd at Poncin Hewitt. Updates on the dates of your specific evaluations will be forthcoming. Looking to get involved? Ask how! [email protected] Gift Baskets: Raffle basket drop off is this Sunday May 15th from 10AM12PM at Poncin Hewitt. More information about the sale of raffle tickets will be coming shortly. Any questions? Please contact Christine Lamoureux at [email protected]. Summer Programs • Summer Camp: AYS is pleased to announce its 2nd annual summer camp with Explosion FC. The camp will be August 8th-August 12th at Tilda B. Stone Fields for boys and girls aged 6-14. Half-day and fullday options are available. Registration can be found on the AYS home page. Please see this flyer. • Summer Pick-Up Games: Pick up games will begin at the end of the season and will be every Tuesday and Thursday from 6-8PM at Poncin Hewitt Fields. Start date TBD. • ODP Training: Registration is now open for those interested in ODP training. There will be a Mass Youth Soccer ODP training at Willett Field July 18th through July 21st from 9-11AM. Registration can be done on Programs o Summer Programs & Clinics o ODP Summer Training Centers. If your child is interested in playing soccer in the next level after BAYS, tryouts for club teams are in early June. You can click on various local clubs via our website for the dates and more information. Click here. Apparel www.mayouthsoccer.org o Next Level Soccer Soccer.com is our apparel provider. Support your teams by wearing Attleboro gear to the games! It is also a great location for coaching gear, soccer equipment, and footwear. Apparel (Click AYS tab in top right corner) Complete details and registration can be found here. Car magnets can be found at Dodgeville fields on Sunday’s (at the referee table). Magnets are $5.00. Good Luck!! Good luck to all teams this weekend. Parents; cheer on your teams but please remember to let the coaches coach. Above all, adhere to the zero tolerance policy. If anyone has a concern on how a referee is calling a game talk with your coach after the game. Make sure to wear your blue & white!
