ACCESS TO C.P.: C.P. is located 12 km east of
Hays. It can only be approached from hwy. 524.
Travel east on hwy. 524 from the village of Hays for
11 km. Turn north onto the gravel road and proceed
4.7 km to the site. The first 2.9 km is good1 gravel
road. At this point, there is a Texas gate. The
CP
remaining portion of the access is gravelled
R trail.
From the gate, proceed 1.1 km. At this point, there
are two roads which can be taken. Stay to the right
for another 0.7 km by a gravel pit to the site. The
other road is too steep for access. Assistance for
wet weather entry may be required.
