Especially for ground and medium voltage
cables, short delivery times are often extremely
important. That only works with a large-scale
and well-stocked warehouse. Fixed lengths are
also delivered punctually to the construction
site; if desired, on one-way drums; return is
free of charge.
Loading is customer-based; i.e., depending
on whether unloading at the customer is with
a crane or forklift.
Along with large inventories, we also ensure
machine processing. Forklifts with 12 tons
loading capacities are needed to cut a cable
with, e.g., 9 tons drum weight. An 8 cm thick
cable for example is cut on a 2.60m drum with
a 10 ton cutting machine. These computer
controlled machines have hydraulic cutting
tools that can cut up to 1 sq m nominal cross
section.

Why has XLPE been used as the insulation material in medium voltage cables in Germany for years? – Because this
crosslinked polyethylene (XLPE) exhibits excellent electrical, mechanical and thermal properties. XLPE insulation
has excellent chemical resistance and is extremely cold resistant. Medium voltage cable (XLPE) with longitudinally watertight shielding is additionally equipped with swelling binders and PE outer casing.
The power cables can be used with great versatility: in the ground, in water, outdoors, in concrete, indoors, cable ducts,
for power plants, industrial plants and switchgear. The power cables are also used for building connections and street
lighting and as control cables for transmitting control pulses and measurements. Everywhere where increased electrical
and mechanical protection is needed.
