1.
Recommended suspension distance to avoid deflection: 20 feet
Recommended suspension point:
Use supplied cable hanger bullets, fastened to ceiling with
1/4-20 allthread or sheetmetal screw

Install hooks and tension HYWIRE with turnbuckles

Install electrical feed
Clamps- Use Two
Cable tie
Power feed
(Clear PVC jacketed 18 AWG
cable)
• Install wall bracket into sturdy blocking.
• Using two clamps per end, create a loop
in wire close to final length, with thimble
inside the loop. Insert loops into Jaws of
turnbuckle and secure pin.
• Tighten turnbuckles only enough to
leave 2” or more of “sag”.
• At this tension, fasteners and wall structure must be able to easily hold 600 lbs.
of horizontal force, per side of run.
• Run power feed cable from Jbox
along HYWIRE to the first Lightplane
9 fixture in the run. Fasten with cable
ties every 18”.
• On a given HYWIRE run, connect
adjacent Lightplane 9 fixtures with
supplied power feed cable.
