Welcome...
6
It is with pleasure, as always, that I welcome you to our
new season here at the Phoenix, and with extra pleasure
that I extend our very best wishes for 2016!
Last year saw unprecedented change at the theatre in terms of programme and activities in general;
2016 will continue that development in particular in improvement to the premises. Waiting at the
door is a fleet of contractors ready to convert the old rehearsal room into a fully equipped multi
purpose studio for use as theatre, exhibition centre, conference suite etc etc, and what a development
that will be, giving our organisation the ability and flexibility to diversify.
It should create lots of new opportunities for all, especially our growing volunteer force,
many of whom are ‘champing at the bit’ to get back ‘into harness’.
All I can say just now is WATCH THIS SPACE for details of things to come.
I do hope you have enjoyed the festive season and that you will be looking forward to joining us
here again very soon. I commend our new programme to you and, as always, if there’s something
we’ve missed, do let us know. Happy new year!

Ben Thompson:
An Evening of Mediumship
with TV Psychic Tony Stockwell
The Definitive Elvis Experience
“The Definitive Elvis Experience” is the most authentic live stage show
produced to honour Elvis Presley’s legacy. For those who missed the
opportunity to see Elvis Live on stage you will have Such a Night…
The show encapsulates all Elvis’ eras, from the ’56 explosion that sky rocketed
his dynamic career, through to his gospel roots, Hollywood years and ’68
comeback all the way through to the later iconic concert years.
Ben Thompson is one of few tributes that can replicate every era of Elvis,
with his phenomenal stage presence and superb vocal range emulating
the greatest entertainer of all time. This show will leave you… All Shook Up!
The popular star of TV’s Street Psychic, Psychic Private Eyes and Psychic
Academy, Tony Stockwell demonstrates his belief that those who have
passed can communicate with their loved ones, all delivered with
emotion, sensitivity and empathy. Remarkably compelling, amazingly
detailed and always humorous. We hope that nobody can fail to come
away untouched by the experience.
Tony Stockwell is a Spiritualist Medium and spirit communication is part of his own
religious belief, but we accept differing opinions exist regarding mediumship.
Any demonstration of mediumship is an experiment and results are not guaranteed.
