Samsung Galaxy Note7 policy
Do not use or charge your device on our buses or in our stations and facilities.
As you are aware, The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission is urging owners of the Samsung Galaxy Note7 –
which Samsung recalled – to turn them off and leave them off due to a fire hazard. This consumer warning is based on
recent reports involving lithium-ion batteries in certain Note7 devices that have resulted in fires. These incidents have
occurred while charging and during normal use, for more information click here.

Recently, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) banned the Galaxy Note7 from planes. Passengers are to keep
them off, and not charge them during their trips, and they must also disable applications that could inadvertently activate the phone, like an alarm clock; protect the power switch to prevent the phone from being unintentionally turned
on; and keep the device in a carry-on baggage or on their person, not in a checked bag.
We feel this is in the same regards to Bus Transportation; anyone traveling with a recalled device must take precautions
to ensure its safe handling. Bus fires can kill.
If you own, or are in possession of, a Galaxy Note7, you are required to power down the device upon boarding our
buses or entering our terminals and facilities.
Thank you for your cooperation,
Trans-Bridge Lines, Inc.
if you see something, say something™
It is important to maintain vigilance and recognize when a threat may be present. Citizens play a pivotal role in
reporting suspicious activities to law enforcement authorities, which may help prevent or deter an attack in places
frequented by all of us.
We count on the traveling public to report unattended bags or packages, individuals in possession of a threatening
item, a person trying to enter a restricted area or similar suspicious activities at major terminals, bus stops and
ports.
To report suspicious activity, contact the local law enforcement agency.
Describe specifically what you’ve observed, including:
•
Who or what you saw;
•
When you saw it;
•
Where it occurred; and
•
Why it’s suspicious.
Note, suspicious behavior and situations must not be based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religious affiliation
or personal beliefs, thoughts, ideas, expressions or associations.
If there is an emergency, call 9-1-1.

The Department of Homeland Security “If You See Something, Say Something™” campaign focuses on raising public awareness on suspicious activities, behaviors or situations that may suggest acts of terrorism or terrorism-related crimes.
The New York Metropolitan Transportation Authority created the “If You See Something, Say Something™” campaign and licensed the use of the slogan to the Department of Homeland Security in 2010. To further expand this initiative, the Department of Homeland Security has partnered with
local law enforcement agencies, transportation systems, universities, sports leagues, and local and state governments across the nation to continue
confronting threats in our communities.
