the appointment of David Hayward to
the post of Board Chairperson, effective
April 2016.

The BDBA Membership Engagement
Committee is currently looking for
business owners and operators to be
part of our Volunteer Business
Liaison Program.
• A Waste Collection Calendar will be
included with the delivery.
This is a new initiative aimed at
increasing awareness of BDBA activities,
events, and support programs as well
as member relationships within with the
downtown business community.
• Once the new collection services are
implemented, loose bagged garbage and
Blue Boxes will no longer be collected.

David is completing his term as Chair of the
Downtown Parking Advisory Committee to
Council this spring.
David will lead an executive team including
Vice-Chair Bradley Jenkins (Express
Employment Professionals), Treasurer
Mark Eade (Eade & Associates), and, PastChair Robert Martin.
All members are encouraged to join the
Association at our Annual General Meeting
on April 6th to meet David and our team.

For the fourth year we will again be
presenting free open-air fitness every
Sunday morning this summer at Civic
Square (City Hall). Fitness providers from
downtown Burlington will be featured
leading classes from boot camp to yoga.
These classes are geared to all fitness
levels and run from 10am – 11am weekly.
