Be a Coach
Parents are needed to volunteer coach
various sports throughout the year. We
will provide resources to assist you in
communicating to participants and parents. One child receives
free participation for your time. Volunteers are asked to submit
information for a SCPR volunteer background check and attend
a coach’s meeting prior to being allowed to coach youth sports.
Please contact us for more information. BE A COACH does not
apply to all our youth sports programs.
QuickScores allows for the capability to update our
participants on a daily basis, extremely efficient scheduling
and notifications, access to various user groups and community
partners, but more importantly QuickScores has easy
to follow directions for users. By simply clicking the
sport, you will be taken to a sport specific page with
details on upcoming leagues, basic information on
league play, email and text alerts, and the most current
season’s schedules. Please take time and visit our

Sports Officials
If you enjoy working in a
sports environment and
wish to earn extra income,
consider officiating youth
or adult activities. For
information please contact
Greg Harmon, Topeka
Premier Umpires at 2303804. All SCPR umpires
must be current on
certifications and submit
information for background checks. We strive to provide
a positive sports environment for everyone involved.
Adult Participation
Are you new to the Topeka area and want to
participate on a team or in league sports? Send
us an email at [email protected] with your name
and phone and sport in which you are interested
in participating and we will put you in contact
with potentiacoaches or leagues. You may check
out the website at www.QuickScores.com/snco for
more information as well.

Adult League Policies
Registering a team to participate in our adult league
sports does not guarantee placement. Please register
early in the process to ensure participation. League
size may be limited and SCPR reserves the right to
place your team in a different league on a different
night if deemed necessary. Make up games, due to
any reason, will be rescheduled with relation to field
availability and teams must play the game or accept
a forfeit. We are building a positive sports
environment for all ages and we ask that coaches
make the participants, fans, and themselves aware
of our current Sportsmanship Emphasis prior to
participating in any individual or league sports. Adult
league rules are available online.

Preschool
Betsey Litscher, (785) 235-1033
Bright Circle is a KDHE licensed preschool program serving
children age 3-5 years old. We’ve been educating
preschool aged children for more than 30 years! We
believe that children learn best through the natural play
environment. The early years of a child’s life are most
important because that is when the characteristics of their
personalities and their own self-image develop. We strive
to provide appropriate activities to develop each child
socially, emotionally, physically and cognitively. Through
these activities, children are encouraged to learn through
play, and develop their skills through self-learning, peer
education and teacher-directed activities. We value not
just learning, but the love of learning as well. In order to
ensure individual attention, class size is limited to 15 students.
A $30 non-refundable registration is required; tuition of
$10 per day is collected at the beginning of each month.
