RACEHORSE SALE IN THE UK

The Arabian Sale will be held at the pres gious Neardown
Stables, set in the heart of the racing community of
Lambourn and only a few miles away from Newbury,
courtesy of Charlie Mann, ex-professional jockey and
successful thoroughbred racehorse trainer.
The debut of this exci ng event will be held on the eve of
the annual Dubai Interna onal Arabian Race Day held at
Newbury racecourse, to promote and to con nue to
generate interest in Purebred Arabian racehorses
worldwide. ARO looks forward to welcoming you to this
unique opportunity to purchase Arabian Racehorses of
the highest quality.
The Arabian Racing Organisa on (ARO) is the sole authority for
Arabian Racing in UK, opera ng with the support and permission
of the BHA ARO is responsible for Regula ons, Planning,
Publica ons, Promo on and Interna onal Representa on. In
2014 ARO will stage 10 dedicated race fixtures and 10 single
races run on Thoroughbred cards.

include an interna onal Arabian sale, with Brightwells; the
UK’s Leading Equestrian Auc oneers, whose name is
synonymous with staging high profile events.

There will be hay and bedding available, but any feed will
have to be supplied by the consignor.
On receipt of completed nomina on form, a representave will be in contact to discuss and arrange if necessary a
visit to view.
Once the nomina on has been accepted an entry form,
together with the ‘Condi ons of Sale’ will be forwarded
either by email or post.
