Inspired by its local surroundings our glorious 4 star hotel has stood at the heart of

Family Fun
Following the great success of our first family dressed buffet last year, please come
and enjoy some family new year fun. Enjoy a family themed party with great food,
entertainment from our Live Band and dance the night away to the latest party numbers

TERMS & CONDITIONS
In order to prevent any misunderstanding in respect of your booking, the following Terms of Business apply to all bookings relating to Christmas & New
Year party nights and festive lunch events. We’ve tried to make our terms of business as straight forward as possible however if you have any questions,
please feel free to speak to us before signing.
1 To confirm your booking, please complete the attached booking form
and return with a deposit of £20.00 per person within 10 days of a
provisional booking being made. The hotel reserves the right to cancel
a provisional booking if the deposit is not paid within this time. Payment
of a deposit is agreement to our terms and conditions.
2 Cancellation of a party or individual guests, including cancellation due
to adverse weather conditions will result in deposits being forfeited as
deposit(s) and pre paid monies are not refundable or transferable.
3 The hotel may only cancel if:
• The hotel or any part of the hotel is closed and become
unavailable due to events beyond our control
• If you, or we become insolvent, or in the case of an individual,
becomes subject to a bankruptcy petition
• We reserve the right to cancel an event should any person attending
an event be abusive to staff or any other guest
4 We reserve the right to remove any persons or serve alcohol who we
deem to be intoxicated by either drugs or alcohol.
5 In the unlikely event that the hotel has to alter or substitute elements of
the package of the hotel will not have any liability.
6 We reserve the right to postpone and change the details of
the brochure.
7 The final balance and Menu choices are required a minimum of 6 weeks
prior to the event and is not refundable or transferable in the event of
cancellation. Should the booking be made within 6 weeks of arrival,
full payment will be required at booking stage
8 Cheques should be made payable to Mercure Hythe Imperial. Multiple
cheques are not accepted.
9 Credit card payments can be accepted by completion of the card details
on the booking form.
10 All prices are inclusive of VAT at the current rate.
11 Pre-ordered drink packages cannot be changed and are non refundable.
12 All room and table plan are at the discretion of the hotel.
The hotel will endeavour to accommodate any special
seating request however these cannot be guaranteed as overall party
sizes will determine final table arrangements.
13 To ensure an enjoyable atmosphere for all, the hotel reserves the right
to transfer bookings to alternative dates if minimum numbers are not
achieved for any event. 14 days notice will be given if this is foreseen
and a full refund will be provided if alternative dates are not suitable.
The hotel’s liability for cancellations is limited to a full refund of
payments received.
14 Should any damage occur to the hotel or hotel property during the
event, then a charge will be imposed to cover the cost of such damage

17 Guests are not permitted to being their own alcohol to consume on the
premises. The hotel operates a bag search policy; any alcohol found
will be confiscated and returned at the end of the evening.
18 You may well consider it worthwhile arranging insurance. This can
usually be done for a small premium, to cover the cost of cancellation
and other liabilities. Please bear in mind that your insurance contract
will be between the insurance company and yourselves.
Christmas & New Year Residential
1 All prices quoted are per person, include VAT and are based on two
people sharing a twin/double room. Single supplements apply, ask
for details. Packages include meals as described but exclude all drinks.
Programmes and entertainment described are as a guide and vary
at each hotel, please ask for details. We reserve the right to amend the
programme at any time. A £50.00 per adult deposit is required at the
time of booking, of children have their own room a £50.00 per child
deposit will be due. Full pre-payment is due 6 weeks prior to the arrival. All programmes and prices are subject to availability.
2. If you cancel you Christmas or New Year Residential break,
the cost of cancellation is: More than 42 days (6 weeks) prior to arrival:
The £50.00 per person deposit will be retained.
Less than 42 day (6 weeks) prior to arrival: 100% of the
total holiday cost.
