Overview
Enrollees in the Jerry Bickel Race Car Performance Class, JB001 receive two days of
intensive instruction in the latest drag race car chassis designs, fabrication techniques,
and chassis adjustments. This program will help everyone from sportsman racers to
seasoned drag racing professionals.
Sessions consist of group instruction, live demonstrations, and hands-on use of tubing
benders, the shrinker-stretcher, and bead roller. This class was created in a joint effort
by Jerry Bickel Race Cars, Inc. and IQ Learning Systems, Inc.
Instruction
We included the very best information from Jerry Bickel’s staff of professional race car
fabricators. The classes are taught by renowned race car builder Jerry Bickel, racing
program author/teacher Robert Colesworthy, and Jerry’s chief fabricators Bud Payton
and Mike Meyer. These people build race cars for many high-profile professional racing
teams as well as amateur racers. This is key, because students learn from those who
actually do this kind of work for a living—Monday through Friday—and are recognized
as leaders in their fields.
