Introduction and Warranty

We thank you for purchasing one of our products manufactured in compliance with the strictest norms
and according to technical principles aiming at ensuring an easy and safe use in professional work
environments.
The manufacturer provides a 12 month warranty for his products in compliance with the legislation in
force.
The warranty is not valid for electrical parts and consumable goods.
Technical interventions under warranty will be made only at Manufacturer’s premises.
The fees for the transport and the delivery of the equipments will be charged to the Client.
The product guarantee must be validated by the Customer by providing the original purchasing invoice.

Read carefully the warnings included in this INSTALLATION, USE AND MAINTENANCE MANUAL,
because they provide important information regarding a safe installation, use and maintenance.
Keep this manual for any further consultation by the operators. The manual must be kept during the
whole lifespan of the equipment and it must also be available for the users for any possible consultation.
It is necessary to read it for any information regarding the installation, the use and the maintenance of the
equipment.
Before connecting the machine make sure that the data on the label correspond to those of the electric
power supply present in the room where the machine is installed.
• Make periodical safety controls.
• The machine must be connected at an electric socket equipped with earthing.
• Every operation to the machine must be performed by a skilled technician.
• Do not touch any electric part before disconnecting the machine from the power supply.
• Do not spill any liquid on the external part of the equipment and in particular near the control panel.
• Never use the equipment with wet hands or if you walk on wet floors with naked feet.
• Never use the machine if the cord is damaged.
• Do not remove the plug pulling from the cord.
• Do not use acid substances or chemical weapons for the machine cleaning.
• Do not leave the key plugged in the internal opening of the machine, but remove it and give it to the
person in charge of the cleaning and the supply of the machine itself.
Environmental Notes
NOISE
The Machine presents a Lep,d value of less than 70 dB(A).
If positioned in areas with a noise value of more than 80 dB(A), the employer must form and
inform the operator of the risks from exposure to the noise and he must take the necessary
precautions according to the authorized doctor.
PACKAGING
The packaging materials (plastic bags, polystyrene, cardboard, etc.) must be kept away
from children, because they may be dangerous. Collect and select the materials according
to the type of material (e.g. cardboard, wood, plastic materials, etc.) and dispose of them in
compliance with the norms in force.
OUT OF ORDER At the end of the Machine’s working life it is necessary to dismount and select the parts
(electric panel, metallic cabinet, etc) and to dispose them in compliance with the norms in
force.
DISPOSAL
In compliance with art. 13 of the LD 25 of June 2005, n. 151 “Implementation of the directives
2002/95/CE and 2003/108/CE regarding the reduction of the use of dangerous substances
in the electric and electronic equipments (WEEE). This symbol on the equipment or on its
package indicates that the product cannot be disposed as an urban waste, but it must be
disposed separately from the other wastes through authorized collection centres.
The proper differentiated collection of the dismissed machine for the following procedure
of recycling, treatment and environmentally friendly disposal contributes to avoid possible
negative effects for the environment and human health and at the same time they allow the
re-use and/or the recycling of the materials the machine is made of. The illegal disposal of
the products by its owner involves the application of administrative fees provided for the
norms in force.

The Shoe Shiners, object of this manual, are designed and built according to the technical directive
norms pertaining to them in order to remove impurities, to distribute shoe polish cream and to polish
shoes.
The shoes to be treated with this shoe shining machine, object of this manual, are usually worn by the
person, but they can also held in the hands, without any further danger.
For the shoe shiners, object of this manual, the Manufacturer recommends:
• To place the machine on a flat surface.
• Not to use the machine outdoor or near water.

Installation
The Shoe Shiners, object of this manual, are delivered in a single packaging, already assembled and ready
for use.
After removing the packaging, make sure of the completeness of the equipments.
Connect the equipment to the electric power supply.
Before connecting the equipment make sure that the data on the plate, which is placed in the rear part of
the Shoe Shiner, correspond to those of the electric power supply present in the room where the machine
is installed.
The equipment must be connected to an electric socket protected against the indirect contacts in compliance
with the norms in force in the country of use.
The label indicating the earthing node is placed inside the machine near the power cord inlet.

Functioning and use
Insert the plug in a suitable socket equipped with earthing. The machine is ready
to be used.
Press the start button. Clean the shoes with the pre-cleaning brush. To make the
machine distribute the polish cream, using the point of the shoe press the dispenser
valve placed on the front part of the machine on the left and identified by the label
“CREAM”. Polish the shoes with the brush corresponding to the desired colour.
The machine is equipped with timer and it will stop automatically after 20 seconds of
functioning.
The polish cream is contained in an apposite tank inside the machine that can
be opened through the key lock. Before entering the internal part of the machine,
disconnect the power cord from the socket.
When finishing using the machine, disconnect it from the power supply, then
clean it accurately following the instructions outlined in the chapters “EXTERNAL
PARTS CLEANING”.

Instructions for users
Before moving the Shoe Shiner, make sure that the machine plug is disconnected from the socket.
The Shoe Shiners, object of this manual, are designed only to remove impurities, to distribute shoe polish
cream and to polish shoes.
Do not use the Shoe Shier outdoor or in wet or damp places.
The Manufacturer recommends not leaving the key plugged in the internal opening of the machine.
Remove it and give it to the person in charge of the cleaning and the supply of the machine itself.
If you are going not to use the machine for a long period, disconnect it from the power supply and keep it
in a dry place.

Maintenance and cleaning
Before every activity of Cleaning and/or Maintenance, disconnect the machine from the electric power
supply of the equipment, by disconnecting the plug.
The Manufacturer recommends that every maintenance operation performed on the machine must be
made only by a qualified technician.
Fill in the internal tank containing the polish cream
periodically, depending on the use.
Disconnect the Shoe Shiner from the power supply.
Open the front opening, equipped with apposite key, fill in the
tank with the proper shoe polish cream, which you can find
easily on the market, then close the front panel with the
apposite key.
EXTERNAL PARTS CLEANING: Use a soft cloth and a neutral cleaning product. Never use
products like chlorine and bleach etc. that may corrode or eat
the metal.
Avoid absolutely to clean the metal with a steel wool, brush or
steel scraper.
Do not clean the shoe shiner machine using jets of water.
When you clean the parts of the machine near the electric installation,
make attention to splashes.
MAINTENANCE:
Before every use check that the power cord is in good conditions, if it is
not, change it with a similar hose.
BAD FUNCTIONING:
If the machine breaks or does not function properly or the performances
deteriorate, contact the Dealer’s Technical Assistance.
