EDITORIAL
Dear Readers,
Every child at PDPS is nurtured by providing a plethora of opportunities to
enable them to take progressive step towards the fulfilment of their dreams. Round
the year we plan activities to bring to the fore an amalgamation of academics with
Sports, culture, lifeskills and talent recognition. 'Blue Streak' chronicles the
accolades won by our students and gives you a glimpse of the buzzing school life,
functions, activities and assemblies. My heartfelt gratitude to all contributors who
have supported us to turn our dreams into reality. I also take this opportunity to
express my sincere thanks to our esteemed Principal, Mr. A K Sharma for being a
beacon of light and inspiration for all.

FROM THE DESK OF THE PRINCIPAL
Teaching is a Complex Science. It is through teaching that the society trains
the young in congenial environment to make them better citizens for the world in
which they live. Teaching being the act of helping the child to learn to acquire
knowledge, attitude, ideals, habits or some other type of learning which he does
not previously posses; imparts knowledge and curb undesirable traits and
tendencies. Good teaching primarily consists of guiding and directing pupil in
learning and liberating the mind through the development of social habits.
Learning is permanent change in behaviour as a result of practice. Learning is
some kind of internal change that can be retained. It can be a change in behaviour,
attitude, interest, value or increased capability for some kind of performance.
Learning is a process that begins with the availability of the learning matter and
ends with the internalization of the matter within the individual which is manifested
through appropriate recall. All education is self education. Child must do his own
learning.
With these words, I wish all the best to the Editorial Team of "Blue Streak"
and its readers.

IMAGINATION
The world is full of creations,
So why not make our innovations.
Imagine, the clouds bathing in the pond,
As if some magician has done the trick with his wand.
The sun carrying a box of ice-creams on its back,
And the raging thunder looking for someone to attack.
Imagine the birds swimming in the lake,
and the fishes wondering which road to take.
The pen, out of control, writing its own feelings,
and the people using a feather instead for their scribblings.
Imagine, in a classroom, peeping from outside
There whistles a cat to all the stationery,
And hencefully all the pens, pencils, duster and chalks.
Straight to the cat school for all the cats, white and furry.
It all lies in the way we think,
So don’t let your thoughts sink.
Imagination makes a person glad,
Just like frustration makes him mad …….
