Who We Are
Founded in 2009 by husband and wife team, Norman and
Pamela Bethea, Serenity House of Atlanta Ministries, Inc. is a
leading non-profit organization that provides housing to
support and strengthen people in making changes in their life
for a better tomorrow. Our mission is to help men and women
to regain their independence and dignity while breaking the
cycle of self-destructive patters to recreate productive lives.

What We Do
Our Ministry assist homeless clients in need of long term transitional housing.
Residents stay on- site for a period of up to three months in order to obtain
Employment, GED, Technical or College Education and guide them on a path to be
responsible for their responsibilities in life.
Serenity House of Atlanta Ministries is a place where clients can come together and
rebuild their lives. Our mission is to help them regain their independence and dignity,
and break the cycle of self destructive patterns to recreate productive lives. As life
coaches, we provide transitional housing for hard to place clients such as, the
Homeless, the mental ill, and Ex-Offenders.

Our Services
Serenity House of Atlanta Ministries, Inc. Program Services:
§  We provide housing for DOC and DJJ Clients in the state of Georgia who are age
18 and above
§  We have 24hr/7 days a week monitoring by staff and life coaches
§  Random Drug Screens
§  Referral to Anger Management classes
§  Group sessions
§  Referral to physician/psychiatrist
§  GED assistance
§  Creating a budget and money management
§  Building self-esteem and finding positive solutions to problems
§  Help with finding jobs/applications and interviews
§  To make wiser choices and set realistic goals
§  Developing life skills and personal hygiene Building and maintaining healthy
relationships

Release Day
We have in many cases picked up clients directly from Prison on their release dates. This
gentleman came to Serenity House in 2013 and has gone on to live a sustainable and
productive life.
Graduation Day
Some of our clients have enrolled in college and graduated and went on to get a job in
their field of study. We support our clients in every way, every day.
Beauty Day for The Ladies
Serenity House for the ladies is a place where ladies can feel safe in a home-like setting.
Many of our ladies have gone a while without feeling their best. On Beauty Day, we
pamper our ladies and make them feel special. We have them get their hair, nails and make
up done, dress them up and take beauty photos.

Job Training Skills
Serenity House offers our DOC and DJJ Clients Job Training Skills. Not only are they
volunteering at our Fundraising Events learning social skills, they have the opportunity to
learn valuable skills to help them obtain a viable, self-sustaining jobs upon their release or
expired order.
