Humble Ways is set in the heart of Walmer and aims to allow
parents to celebrate and share their precious child’s birthday with
their guests in a private, tranquil, child-friendly environment with a
spaciously enclosed outside play area as well as an indoor play
area in the event of rain or wind.
FOR WHOM?
TIMESLOTS:
VENUE ALLOWS
The venue is suitable for boys
and girls
from the ages of 1-6 years
It is available for bookings from
Monday to Saturday
of which the timeslots are
10:00-12:00 or 14:00-16:00.
and can host a maximum of
25 children and 40 adults.
On Sundays there is only one

timeslot from 10:00-12:00
VENUE RENTAL COSTS:
VENUE HIRE
A venue hire of R1250,00 applies which includes the
exclusive use of the venue for 2 hours - a maximum of 25
children aged 1-6 years are allowed.
· In the case of 10 or less children the minimum venue hire
will be R1000,00.
This applies to all bookings made for a Saturday,
Sunday, public holidays or during the school holidays.

A venue hire of R1000,00 applies which includes the
exclusive use of the venue for 2 hours - a maximum of 25
children aged 1-6 years are allowed.
· In the case of 10 or less children the minimum venue hire
will be R800,00.
This applies to all bookings made for weekdays and
Fridays.

The venue hire fee that is charged includes:
· Our facilities; indoor and outdoor playground & equipment
for 2 hours.
ADULT RATES
· R20 per adult
This applies to weekday, weekend and public holiday bookings.
The fee that is charged per adult includes:
· Use of cups, glasses, plates, teaspoons & cake forks.
· Adults refreshment table with juice, tea, urn, filter coffee, milk, &
sugar.
Children Younger than 12 months:
· No fee is charged for children younger than 12 months,
therefore they will not be included in the headcount.
Children Older than 6 Years:
· R20 per additional invited child older than 6 years
· Strictly no children older than 6 years allowed the use of
playground equipment
· Fee includes the use of the adults refreshment table
FOR THE DIY PARENTS:
Our venue allows you to organize as much, or as little of your party as you
would like as you may bring your own decor, party packs, eats /platters and
birthday cake.
In the event of a client needing assistance in hanging or setting up their own
décor a fee of R100,00 will be charged.

make your event as stress free as possible to plan.

VENUE POLICIES & BOOKING INFORMATION:
TERMS & CONDITIONS:
The only inflatable equipment allowed are those rented from the venue.
No tables & chairs for kids may be brought in – Humble Ways supplies its own.
Venue capacity maximum is: 25 kids & 40 adults
Please be advised that you are allowed to start setting up 45 minutes before the start of the party
Clients are required to leave the venue within half an hour after the booked party time – failure to comply
will result in an extra fee of R200,00.
· The venue and its equipment is only suitable for boys and girls from the ages of 1-6 years, therefore no
children older than 6 years is permitted the use of any equipment.
· Strictly no alcohol or smoking allowed.

No temporary bookings are made.
A non-refundable deposit of R400.00 is required to secure your booking.
This deposit will be offset against your final invoice.
HUMBLE WAYS PRE-ORDER PARTY PACKS: For manufacturing & catering
coordination of these special order items; payment for party packs is
required no later than 1 week prior to the party date.
Confirmation of the final number of children & adults attending is required
by no later than 2 days prior to the party date.
Upon your confirmation of final attending numbers, you will be required
to settle the full invoice via eft 2 days (48 hours) before the set time of the
party.
Humble Ways reserves the right to charge any additional fees immediately
after the party (i.e. additional adults/children added after confirmation of
numbers) should head count done on party day differ from pre-arranged
number of attending guests.
If the client neglects to deposit the outstanding amount within 48 hours
before the date and time of the booked party, the party will be cancelled
and the initial deposit will be forfeited.

Any additional costs & charges incurred on party day will be invoiced
& require settlement within 24 hours after completion of party.
