Kreidler offers you different engine
concepts. This allows you to choose the
engine that best suits your needs. Both
2-stroke and 4-stroke engine, as well as
electric motors, are available.

Enthusiasm, reliability, design and roadworthiness!
A young man from Kornwestheim near Ludwigsburg,
Germany, shares his story about an exciting holiday
trip with his Kreidler Supermoto 125 DD. In May 2010,
16-year-old Marcel R. set off on his Supermoto for
an adventure tour together with his father. From his
hometown to Sardinia. His father beside him on his
own bike.
After arriving at their destination in Genoa, where the
ferry to Sardinia departs in the evening, they still had
plenty of time for an ample meal. Many hours later,
after a nightlong journey on the ferry, father and son
reached the harbour of Porto Torres in Sardinia the
next morning. Only a few minutes' drive separated our
protagonist team from their hotel and 10 days of summer, sun, and sea.
They set off on a Friday at midday. First stop: Tegernsee Lake. After relaxing for a night in the Bavarian
Alps, they left the next morning in good spirits over
the Achen Pass, the old Brenner Strasse in Austria, the
still snowy Jaufenpass in South Tyrol, the Mendelpass,
Gampen Pass, and Passo Tonale on their way to Prestine, Italy. Despite the considerable altitude swings,
his Supermoto purred like a kitten. The winding roads
added to the fun with a desired dose of action and
the feeling of freedom and liberation.
In early June 2010, it was time to rewind! From Genoa
to Milan and then on to Bergamo. They left behind
the Passo dell’Aprica in Italy and the Bernina Pass in
Switzerland, came over the Fern Pass and crossed the
border into Germany.
The next morning they headed for Milan. One leg of
this journey was a
56-miles
ride on the
motorway.
Marcel reported that his Kreidler Supermoto, despite
high temperatures and full throttle on the motorway,
remained solid, functioned perfectly reliably,
and that he couldn’t
imagine a better road
partner!

A history of success.
1889
Anton Kreidler founded the "Stuttgarter Telegraphendraht und
Kabelfabrik Kreidler", a factory producing telegraph wire and cable.
1904
Motorcycle production begins at Anton Kreidler’s metalworks.
1921
The property is extended and a pressing plant edifice is built.
1942
World War II deals the company a heavy blow; the consequences
are plundering and reparation payments.
1949
Development of motorised bicycles begins.
1950
Kreidler builds its first bike, the K50, and debuts it at the IFMA
one year later.
1954
Cameraman and traveller Günter Markert circumnavigates the
globe on a Kreidler R50 scooter.
1957
Revamp of the product range; from the K50 comes the likely most
familiar model, the Florett 50.
1960
New vehicle model Florett Mokick.
1961
Kreidler presents the new mopeds Florett Super and Florett 4-Gear.
1964
Kreidler sets a legendary world record for speed with the Florett
5-gear at Salt Lake in the US-state of Utah: 130,88 mph.
1971
Kreidler is world champion at the 50 cm3 Cup in 1971, 1972, 1973,
1974, 1975, 1979, 1980 and 1982.
1975
Kreidler brings the Mofa Flory MF12 on the market.
1976
The millionth vehicle rolls out of the factory. Rudolf Kunz becomes
a multiple German champion.
1977
The world champion's technology breaks all records! A 50 ccm
motorcycle breaks the world record for a 0,62 miles rolling start
at 137 mph.
2004
Kreidler develops the first street-legal racing go-cart.
2007
Kreidler Europe Motor GmbH is founded.
2008
Presentation of nine new models at the Intermot 2008 in Cologne.
2009
Introduction of the Galactica model, which was developed
in-house.
2010
2010 First electric scooter in the Kreidler model range.
2010
In summer of 2010 Kreidler took over sales in Germany for LML.
2011
Presentation of the Supermoto 250 DD. Kreidler enters into the
motorcycle scene.
