KALEVA DAYS ..... Chances are there are some of you readers who have never
been to the small town of Kaleva - or maybe you have been there once or twice
to go to the grocery store, hardware store, barber shop or one of the other local
businesses. But, how many of you have taken the opportunity to join the friendly
folks in Kaleva when they have their Annual Kaleva Days? If you haven’t, maybe you
should head that way on Friday, Saturday or Sunday, July 19th through July 21st for
the event. You will be truly surprised that a little town like Kaleva can put together
such an entertaining and successful event.

FOR THE ENTIRE FAMILY!!
You can start your day out on Sunday by stopping by the Lions Den from 8 AM until
noon for a delicious breakfast buffet and then join in on the Community Church
Service and listen to some superior Dixieland Band music. If you’re still hungry
after breakfast, or don’t make it into town early enough for breakfast, just ‘follow
your nose’ to the area in the park where Dave from Kaleva Meats will be cooking his
famous (and absolutely delicious) brats. Other activities on Sunday include a BBQ
Cook-off, more great music, more displays, games, and more.
