overview of Wyndham’s Asia Pacific business operations, its brands
and core competencies.
The Wyndham Worldwide family of companies is made up of three
key business arms. These are Wyndham Vacation Ownership,

Since Wyndham expanded its operations in the Asia Pacific region
15 years ago, we have delivered the strategic drivers that have
made it possible for us to continue to grow our Wyndham Hotel
Group portfolio across South East Asia and the Pacific Rim and our
successful vacation ownership business model into Asia.

Owners receive an annual allotment of Vacation Credits to book

The main focus of the team is split into four areas:
Wyndham Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific has a highly focused
marketing department with over approximately 230 staff.
• Attracting new customers, delivering a great experience and
converting them into new Owners via strong alliances, lead
generation initiatives and the use of existing Owners’ stories.
It consists of five divisions:
• Database Management
• Creative Services
• Call Centres
• WorldMark Services
• Marketing and Social Media
A generous annual marketing budget is spent by both Wyndham
Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific and WorldMark South Pacific Club
by Wyndham on innovative marketing strategies aimed at growing
the WorldMark South Pacific Club Owner base, increasing resort
occupancy and ensuring that Owners are maximising the use of
their vacation ownership in line with the company vision of making
holiday dreams come true. The marketing process begins with
market research and analysis followed by campaign development,
campaign management and creative execution, including lead
generation, with the end result being product sales and a referral
program.
Database Management
Wyndham Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific has one of the largest
independently owned databases in Australia with over eight million
records. This database is constantly being updated to provide the
most accurate and efficient lead sources for the call centres.
Marketing and Social Media The Marketing and Social Media team is dedicated to strengthening
the message to the consumer and improving how Wyndham
engages with a diverse range of audiences. The highly experienced
team plans, implements and tracks the success of marketing
campaigns to funnel leads into the company’s sales pipeline and
generate sales revenue.
• Finding new ways to engage with existing customers (Owners and
guests), meeting their needs and helping them live the dream.
• Developing powerful social media campaigns that will entertain
and inspire consumers and change the way they perceive the
Wyndham brand.
• Ensuring we evolve with the trends, which includes providing
efficient tools to our customers, such as the WorldMark App or
online assistance, as well as streamlining the customer’s journey
from prospective to delighted Owner.
Creative Services
Wyndham Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific has a dedicated creative
services department that produces both internal and external
marketing collateral used in the company. Collateral produced
by Creative Services, for the business and its resorts, spans all
media from print collateral to email, web marketing and television
advertising.
Call Centres
A principal way that Wyndham Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific
markets vacation ownership to its customers is via its six call centres
including our dedicated marketing operations team based locally,
as well as international vendors. Each call centre works to reach
consumers in a different way in order to generate guests at sales
sites. Marketing operations strictly adheres to and embraces the
Australian telemarketing standards and the ‘Do Not Call Register’.
The team is able to produce, implement and measure innovative
marketing initiatives, utilising a range of skills from email to online
marketing, and social expertise such as blogging, creating a content
hub, Facebook, Pinterest and Instagram, to name a few.

SALES
With a strong sales force of over 530 employees operating
from over 18 sales sites and five community marketing program
locations across the Asia Pacific, Wyndham Vacation Resorts
Asia Pacific delivers more than 64,000 face-to-face sales
presentations and makes over 54,000 service calls to existing
Owners each year. The Sales team is made up of highly dedicated
and passionate individuals who show drive and determination
to grow the company and exceed business targets. They are
attractively rewarded with lucrative incentives and some of the
best career advancement opportunities in the business.
Sales is made up of five key divisions:
Sales Field
Incorporating both onsite (resort) sales sites and offsite sales
sites across the Asia Pacific, sales staff in the field conduct
face-to-face presentations to generate new Owners, as well as
enhance existing Owners’ portfolios.
Owner Enhancements
A telesales call centre located at the Wyndham Corporate Centre
is responsible for ensuring existing Owners are making the most
out of their ownership and have the optimum number of Vacation
Credits for their holidaying needs.
Community Marketing Program (CMP)
A program staffed by community marketing agents (CMAs) at
ticket and attraction booths in high traffic areas that provide a
concierge service to locals and tourists. The core objective of
CMP is to generate guests to sales sites by offering discounts and
other incentives.
Sales Programs and Support
A team based at the Wyndham Corporate Centre who service the
field with various marketing, guest generation, anti-rescission and
training programs, as well as logistical support to ensure the right
number of guests arrive at sales sites at the right times. Sales
programs and support are focused on ensuring the field has the
tools and support necessary to successfully perform their roles.
Sales Administration
Located both at sales sites and the Wyndham Corporate Centre,
this team provides invaluable administrative support to all sales
sites, ensuring sales contracts are generated and processed in a
timely manner and that sales sites run smoothly.

CONSUMER FINANCE
The Consumer Finance department provides finance to over
18,019 WorldMark South Pacific Club Owners. It operates
a portfolio of over $338 million and maintains low default
rates of less than 2.5%. Consumer finance generated 16.1%
of revenue for the business in 2014. Consumer Finance has
a dedicated staff of 59 professionals who handle everything
from loan originations, finance approvals, cash management,
collections, customer service, portfolio analytics and process
improvements.
FINANCE
The Finance division, manned by 50 staff, manages all
company accounts including budgeting and forecasting,
general ledger processing, cash management and collection,
treasury and taxation, compliance, controls and payroll.
PROCUREMENT
A Procurement team of eight oversees the procurement and
purchasing requirements for all Wyndham’s entities within
the Asia Pacific region. This includes all operating goods
and services, capital purchases, and furniture, fixtures and
equipment for resort refurbishments and fit-outs.
LEGAL
Wyndham Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific has its own dedicated
Legal team of lawyers, a compliance administrator and a
number of customer service representatives who look after
all legal and compliance matters for the company and all
Wyndham’s entities across the Asia Pacific.
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
A team of 22 highly trained IT staff support business
operations. Responsible for all the business technology needs,
from broad strategy to corporate operations, IT security, phone
systems, networking, software development and hardware, IT is
also instrumental in business continuity issues. IT is responsible
for communications and systems across sites throughout
Australia, New Zealand and Fiji.

PUBLIC RELATIONS
A dedicated Public Relations and communications department is responsible
for internal and external communication liaison to help raise brand awareness
and maintain a positive reputation for our company. Key responsibilities include
identifying media opportunities, carrying out media events and resort openings,
as well as managing sponsorships and our charity arm, Wishes by Wyndham.
HUMAN RESOURCES
A Human Resources department of 15 staff is dedicated to making Wyndham
Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific an inspiring place to work. Committed to
providing a high level of professional advice, the Human Resources department
services the whole company with recruitment, benefits, training and
development, and executive development.
RESORT OPERATIONS AND DEVELOPMENT
Responsible for the company’s vacation ownership resort and hotel acquisitions,
the building of high quality purpose-built resorts and refurbishing existing
resorts and hotels, the Resort Operations and Development team is a key
contributor to Wyndham Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific’s expansion. Over the 15
years the company has been operating in the region, the team has developed
and/or acquired 26 quality resorts for the Club collection.
Resort Facilities
The portfolio of resorts offers an impressive array of facilities including
swimming pools, spas, day spas, tennis courts, games rooms, restaurants and
bars. Typically, WorldMark South Pacific Club resorts provide WorldMark South
Pacific Club Owners with a home-away-from-home experience, with a range of
stylish self-contained apartment accommodations on offer.
Resort Quality Assurance Program
A dynamic and innovative quality assurance program that launched in 2013
has taken Wyndham Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific’s Count On Me! service
promise to new levels of excellence. WorldMark Owners and guests receive
an online satisfaction survey following their resort stay, which allows them to
easily rate and comment on everything about their experience. The results are
instantly processed, allowing resort managers to immediately view feedback
and promptly follow up on any issues. This cutting-edge program provides a
new measurement scale for service levels and quality standards across a diverse
range of resorts.
Rapid Growth
Geographical expansion is key to Wyndham Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific’s
ongoing success and growth strategy. The company is committed to
establishing a strong presence in Asia. The Resort Operations and Development
