attend the 2010 Elk Expo & Sportsmens’ Show August 27-28, 2010 in the
heart of Elk Country. Info on the following page.

for this year ’s hunt.
On Saturday night of the Expo, a 2010 bull tag to hunt on ICG property in
zones 1, 2, 3, or 4 will be auctioned off. If you have a friend wanting to
join you in this year ’s hunt, encourage them to come bid on the bull tag.
Following this year ’s hunt, WMTH Corporation will be sending you a
questionnaire to complete about your hunt. We will also add photos of
your kill so don’t forget to pack your camera.

Chestnut Mountain’s* Knott County Sportsplex which
features 5 basketball/volleyball courts, 3 baseball fields, a bowling alley,
spring-board gymastics

Knott County Kentucky, Elk Capital of the East, is home to hundreds of elk. Elk tours
are available through both Jenny Wiley & Buckhorn State Resort Parks. For a unique
experience, Saddle Up Elk Tours offers elk tours on horseback. There are also hundreds
of miles of ATV & horse trails. Camping and boating is available at Carr Creek Lake.
Restaurants include: Subway, Dairy Queen and the Mall Restaurant at Holly Hills
Shopping Center, the Artisan Cafe’ in downtown Hindman as well as pizza shops and a
few other restaurants. There is also a skate park and public swimming pool.

Knott County Sportsplex in Soft Shell, Kentucky
Don’t miss this opportunity to meet with outfitters, previous elk hunters, and
those in the area that know the lay of the land and where to find the elk. We
will have vendors, taxidermists, guide services as well as special presentations
including “I Just Killed an Elk - Now What?”
All past and current elk hunters have been invited to attend. Those drawn in
this year’s lottery will be admitted to the Expo FREE of charge. The event
includes antler scoring, elk calling, ATV safety demonstrations, educational
offerings, raffles, guest speakers, archery shoot, live and silent auctions,
exhibits, vendors plus much more. Elk Tours are also available. New this year,
Beast Feast on Friday evening will have a sampling of wild game including wild

On Saturday night, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation is hosting a banquet. All
are invited to attend. Cost $25 per person or $40 for two includes full dinner,
