SINAI DRESSAGE WINTER POINTS CHAMPIONSHIP 2011 / 2012 – RESULTS Sunshine has been one very welcome theme to this year’s Sinai Dressage Winter Series, we have been extremely lucky and have not had to cancel any competitions or got particularly soggy! Due to excellent entries it became apparent at the beginning that we would have to run one of the dressage classes outside, it seemed obvious for it to be the Intro to allow shorter waiting times between tests and an ease to congestion in the car park! This may have not been a popular decision with some competitors but it was that or 3 or 4 hour wait between tests and an extremely long day for the Sinai Team! The competitions have been generally very well supported and the quality of dressage has improved from last year, to such an extent that one judge was very complimentary about the standard – congratulations everybody! Deezynes Junior Prelim Champions Catrin and Whitney Reserve Becky and Tudor Minstral with Dee from Deezynes! DEEZYNES JUNIOR PRELIM CHAMIONSHIP The Deezynes Junior Prelim Championship was won by only one point by Catrin Menzies and her beautiful, if a little headstrong, bay mare Whitney. Reserve Champion went to Becky Pugh and her lovely young coloured horse Tudor Minstral. A special prize of Most improved went to Georgina Davies who has persevered all winter teaching her horse Legs (Le Grand Legacy) to canter on the correct right canter leg – it has taken a lot of work and determination but by the last couple of competitions the hard work was paying off! Deezynes run by Dee Screen offer a garment embroidery service, as well as vinyl cutting; printing and gemstone art work for all purposes, Dee also embroidered all the rugs, saddle cloths and prizes for the championship. The Deezynes Junior Prelim winners, right to left, Catrin, Becky, Nariee and Georgina! JELLIE BOX JUNIOR NOVICE CHAMPIONSHIP The Jellie Box Junior Novice was equally tight with only 2 points splitting Catrin who claimed the title and Becky who took reserve.
