Thank you for taking the time to review our Statement of Qualifications. Enclosed is a prequalification package
designed to highlight the achievements of Niles Industrial Coatings and to demonstrate our ability to successfully
execute industrial cleaning and painting projects of any variety or magnitude.
Since 1958, the Niles family has consistently improved in the painting business while also increasing the services
they offer. In 1970, our organization began a period of great success as we worked closely with the automotive
industry on industrial painting and cleaning projects. Starting out as Genesee Decorating Company, the business
evolved into Genesee Painting Company Inc. and survived acquisition by a national corporation. In November
2002, we reestablished ourselves as Niles Industrial. While doing so, we maintained the majority of key
management and field personnel that contributed to the overall success of Genesee Painting Company.
Our commitment to continuous improvement has enabled us to provide our customers with a full range of
industrial services to meet site-specific and customer-specific needs in a timely manner. A key component to our
comprehensive service offering has been the creation of Niles Industrial Services, LLC (“NIS”); a company
which provides hyrdo-blasting, wet/dry vacuum truck, liquid vacuum truck and sewer cleaning services. The
immediate success of NIS is due in large part to the hiring of the most experienced and efficient managers and
operators in the industrial cleaning business. Their experience and reputations and our specialized equipment
have allowed us to create a diversified customer base for NIS and provide additional services to complement
Niles Industrial’s existing service offering.
Niles Industrial’s key leadership and impressive inventory of equipment has allowed us to build and maintain
strong industry relationships with Fortune 500 companies. We are confident that these factors, along with our
combined experience exceeding 200 years, make us the contractor of choice for projects in these sectors. Our
mission is to provide safe, economical and value-added solutions to our customers.
As evidenced by the attached list of completed projects, the Niles team has a diversified background in
commercial, industrial and automotive projects. Niles Industrial Coatings is a bonded, insured and ISO-certified

Nationwide full service coating and lead painting contractor for over 40 years
Professional, cost-effective coating and abatement services to a wide spectrum of
customers
Hydro-Blasting
Cleans surfaces
Removes latex materials, paint, phosphates, resins, coke, fly ash, black liquor,
rust, cement and other materials from industrial equipment
Utilizes pressure washers with capacities ranging from 2,500 pounds per square
inch to 20,000 pounds per square inch
Ultra-high pressure hydro-blasting provides pressures up to 40,000 pounds per
square inch to strip coatings and cut steel along with other specialized
applications. This method also minimizes waste and run-off during the removal
process

Intensive cleaning to remove all particles adhering loosely to surface structures

Ryan Niles, President Education: Michigan State University, Bachelor of Science, Medical Technology, College of Lyman Briggs, 1998. Biography: Ryan is an ambitious and driven individual. As a self‐starter with proven ability to effectively manage projects, his keen eye quickly identifies areas for improvement while his personable communication skills lead clients and team members to decisive action plans. Ryan’s involvement with the industrial painting and cleaning business for more than 15 years includes “hands‐on” experiences, starting at the bottom with sweeping shop floors to where he is currently, the President of Niles Industrial. Throughout his career Ryan created many cost conserving ideas, such as a 10% annual savings while overseeing the $25 million budget for paint and abrasive purchases. His coordination and management skills guided two simultaneous projects for Meijer, totaling an excess of $15 million to an on‐time completion while being under budget. This experience and perspective give him a unique insight to the needs of customers as well as an in‐depth knowledge of solution found within the industrial paint and cleaning industry. In November 2002, Ryan formed Niles Industrial, LLC. This endeavor was important to him as he is the third generation of the Niles family to be in the industrial coating business. Under Ryan’s tenure as President, Niles Industrial continues to maintain strong relationships within the automotive industry while establishing new relationships in a variety of manufacturing, industrial and utility sectors.
