PRODUCT SUMMARY
CTS began development of its first dedicated
healthcare kiosk in 2005. Patient Passport Express™
(PPE) kiosks were specifically engineered and
purposely built for the demanding environments
of hospitals and clinics. With over two years in
development prior to its 2007 debut, the CTS
healthcare kiosk has been and continues to be
successfully deployed in hospitals and clinics
nationwide.
CTS offers several different designs from which to
choose. Two of the most widely deployed kiosks are
the Patient Passport Express™ and the CTS Legacy™.
Tablet and All in One solutions are now available
for QuadraMed. Additional offerings include
desktop and wall-mounted kiosks, as well as
complementary digital content solutions.
The CTS Patient Passport Express™ family of patient
check-in kiosks is fast becoming the standard for
the healthcare industry. All kiosks in the PPE™
healthcare line offer privacy options per HIPAA
guidelines and meet ADA universal design standard
recommendations for wheelchair access.
Today, CTS’s kiosks have accounted for close to
50,000,000 patient check-ins.

Option #1 - The Patient Passport Express™
This modern and brilliantly engineered unit
provides a patient check-in experience that is
ideal for patients who stand over six feet tall
or are in a wheel chair. With a 40” range of
vertical motion and private audio capability,
this patient check-in kiosk redefines the
industry and exceeds ADA guidelines.
The new adjustable Patient Passport Express™
demonstrates streamlined aesthetics in
healthcare kiosk design. Incorporating a
sophisticated mix of materials and surfaces,
the kiosk provides a plethora of choices of
customized textures and colors, allowing the
enclosure to be integrated into any facility’s
existing décor and branding.
Option #2 - The Legacy Kiosk™
The CTS Legacy healthcare kiosks™ are
stalwart, functional, and reliable. Accounting
for over 10,000,000 patient check-ins, CTS
Legacy kiosks have proven to be the
cornerstone of the industry. Legacy kiosks are
available as floor standing units or in modular
desktop versions. They provide a wide range
of peripherals, while both decal and processprinted graphics allow for a wide variety of
branding options on this economical kiosk.

Option #3 – DESKTOP OPTIONS
The Patient Passport Express Desktop Kiosk™ is the newest addition to CTS’s line of
patient check-in kiosks. The redesigned desktop kiosk is more advanced and capable
than ever before. The kiosks’ overall footprint was reduced, without sacrificing quality.
It includes a larger 19” touch screen, as well as support for additional peripherals
which were previously unavailable on the desktop product line.

COMPLIANCES:
COMPLIANCE WITH THE ADA FOR KIOSKS
Currently, ADA Accessibility Guidelines (ADAAG) do not specifically mandate
ATM guidelines to apply to kiosks. CTS, however, designs all of its kiosks to
meet these Access Guidelines based on set ATM and Universal Human Factors
in Design regulations for both wheelchair bound and ambulant individuals.
With a 40” range of motion, the New Patient Passport Express™ kiosk is the
ONLY patient check-in kiosk on the market today that meets front access (“rollup”) ADA guidelines.

CTS provides fixed equipment anchor points and instructions for equipment
mounting with all of its floor standing kiosks. At the request of its clients, CTS
will provide anchor services as part of the installation process. Also available at
the client’s request is data submission for evaluation of equipment anchorages’
seismic safety. CTS can provide data to the office of Health and Safety Code,
Division 107 Statewide Health Planning and Development, per §129895: Hospital
equipment anchorages; seismic safety standards and approval; of the Alfred E.
Alquist Hospital Facilities Seismic Safety Act of 1983 (HSSA 83).
UL TIP TEST AND UL SLIDE TEST
All CTS floor standing kiosks meet or exceed requirements for the UL 10° Tip
Stability Test and 10° Slide Test.
HIPAA PRIVACY
CTS offers multiple options for ensuring and protecting the privacy of your
patient including privacy filters and recessed screens.
