SEW has been on the air since
March of 1992 from high atop
Mount Hope in Sanford-Springvale,
Maine. Seventeen years of what has been
affectionately called a “pea shooter” at
100 watts at 88.5 FM, avoiding interference with Channel 6 TV and trying to
avoid interference from several other stations in Maine and bordering states. It has
resulted in limited coverage, but enough
so that there are many loyal listeners.
By God’s grace and provision and in His
time, WSEW has been granted a construction permit to make tremendous improvements for the listeners across Southern
Maine and New Hampshire. With perseverance and patience, with God-directed
engineering and legal assistance, at the
time when He deemed best, the grant
came from the Federal Communications
Commission (FCC). To Him be all the

In Power,
Going Up....
From 100 watts ( think 100 watt light bulb
as a comparison) to 3200 watts ( think 32
100-watt light bulbs and consider the increase in the light). From in your car to in
your home !! The Light of Christ, shining
brighter and further !
This is your radio station !! You are the
proud recipients of this Prize !! You are
in the race to bring Christian radio to as
many homes and individuals as possible
while there is still time.
On the Dial,
Please be sure to tune in more often than
usual Monday to Wednesday, November
9 to 11, when the Call to Partnership
2009 unites us in this grand and glorious
mission to expand WSEW and allow more
people to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Ron and Sharon Malone will be on the air
with special guests from the community of
listeners live in studio and via telephone
links as well as with on-air personalities.
We will be helping our listeners to Power
Up The Tower….. All the Way !!
From 88.5 FM to 88.7 FM Clearer, quieter, less prone to interference. A stronger
voice for the Gospel in the community.
On the Tower,
From a new transmitter going up the tower
with 240 Feet of transmission cable.
Miles of increased coverage. Many more
homes and businesses penetrated with the

POWER UP The TOWER !!
he new transmitter tuned to 88.7
FM has been ordered ! The transmission cable is on order as well ! The
new antenna system will be mounted at
the 240-foot height on the tower on
Mount Hope in Sanford-Springvale.
From the transmitter housed at the base
of the tower, the transmission cable will
carry the signal to the antenna system and
out to the listeners of WSEW 88.7 FM
hopefully before the end of this year !
The cost of the transmitter and transmission cable is $8,400. The money has
been set aside for the purchase. Praise
the Lord ! But that amount of money
needs to be built back up in the operating
funds of WSEW and WWPC. We would
love for you to have a part in this magnificent opportunity to continue to increase
the reach of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in
southern Maine and New Hampshire.
We are inviting you to help raise the
funds for this expansion project. As we
go up the 240 feet of the tower at a total
cost of $8400, each foot would be valued
at $35. Therefore, you could personally
help with one foot of “POWER UP THE
TOWER” with a donation of $35. Whatever amount you would like to donate
would be gratefully appreciated, whether
it is INCHES or SEVERAL FEET !!
Please use the enclosed card and envelope if the Lord is prompting you to help
out. Donations are also accepted
through credit cards at our PayPal donation site at www.wsew.org. You may
also call toll-free at 1-888-512-1846 to
make a donation by credit card.
All donations to WSEW-WWPC are tax
deductible to the fullest extent of the law
as a 501c3 tax exempt entity.
To reach the 240
foot level, there are
sixty (60) four-foot
increments of tower.

uring the very first Call to
Partnership in November of
2008, Terri Fratus called in and
talked to phone volunteer, Ford
Bishop. She wanted to give a donation in memory of her parents, Elmer
and Anna Brummitt, from their estate. Terri shared that her mom,
Anna, passed away in 2004 after it
was discovered that she had a nonmalignant brain tumor that had been
troubling her for years. “My mom’s
health always went through good and
bad periods. During the times when
she was house bound for several

weeks at a time, Christian radio was
one of her only ways to worship the
Lord.” Just before Christmas in
2007, Terri’s dad, Elmer, died of “an
instant, massive heart attack.” She
imagined her “Dad’s great joy at his
first breath in Heaven, in seeing
Mom and Jesus, and in celebrating
Christ’s birth in Heaven for the first
time.” So in this way, Terri honored
their memory with a partnership with
her local Christian radio stations,
Radio to Live With. Said Sharon
Malone, Operations Manager of
WSEW-WWPC, in her response to
Terri and her husband, Gary, “Our
Call to Partnership recently gave us a
glimpse into the hearts of our listeners as they related how much Christian radio means to them. It
obviously meant a lot to your folks to
have the influence of Christian teaching programs and music, and it was a
wonderful idea to present this gift in
their memory… We are humbled and
reminded of our great responsibility
to be good stewards of all that is entrusted to our care here at WSEW and
WWPC.”
Regarding the upgrade of WSEW, "Thank you for the blessing of the
radio station - and we praise Him for the victory you've won! May God
continue to bless your ministry. " -Jan and Sandra, Alton, NH
Hi guys. I have been listening for all these years and been blessed by the programming and music on your stations. I just had an unexpected financial blessing and
wanted to make a small gift to you guys for your faithful service to God's people in
southern Maine and NH. With the expansions you are involved in I figured you
could use some extra $$$ -- Mike in Wells, ME
I remain a supporter of Christian radio both here and around the world. Radio
waves can penetrate borders of countries opposed to the Gospel and they can penetrate the minds of people opposed to the Gospel… I believe that the Lord has allowed man to have all of this great technology for the purpose
of expanding His Kingdom. -- Charlie in Eliot, ME
