Frien dl tenni y s since 1977 THE PLACE FOR TENNIS IN VENICE 512 N. Auburn Road, Venice, Florida 34292 Email: [email protected] Phone 941-485-2000 November 2015 Website: http://www.courtsidevenice.com energized, communicating and doing our best to serve and please our members. I was so thrilled with some of our members that have come out to help beautify our tennis courts before the league season began. Thanks to the following: Sam Vendemia, Gary Sibley, Sandy Allen, Jeannie Parsons, Jim Hester and Laurie Mooney for help on the flyer. Sorry, if I missed anyone. Namaste and good day to all board members and club members. The board members have hired Eric Dove as the new tennis director at Courtside and I am looking forward to working together with Eric here at Courtside. Congratulations to Eric and please give him a warm welcome when he joins us. I am still holding down the fort as your interim tennis director until Eric’s arrival. I have worked at this club for almost 9 years and plan to continue on as it has been a very family friendly and fun place for me to work. I am very excited to continue because my son Ryan was 5 years old when I began to teach here and this is a place that he has a true feeling of comfort as well. He currently attends Pine View which is a top rated school in the state and nation and is a 4.0 + level in tennis. He’s been a great role model for our Courtside Junior Program and he’s been a great help to me during the Friday Junior Program. Ryan also plays USTA tournaments, which also helps get some great publicity for Courtside, as coaches and parents always ask where Ryan trains. Julie, my wife, and I are truly blessed to have such a wonderful son. We call Florida the Sunshine State and I feel that Sue, Michelle and Leon are our “Sunshine Staff”. They are always willing to help and they do it with a smile on their faces. Thank you, Ace Chandra SPECIAL THANKS My sincere thanks go out to Sam Vendemia and Gary Sibley for the excellent (and difficult) work that they performed in hand scarifying around the fences and nets on courts 1-9.
