ModuCORE® for Breweries
& Distilleries
For every gallon of alcoholic beverage produced,
brewers & distillers produce 3 to 13 gallons of

stillage or spent grain. ModuCORE converts this
stillage into useful energy that can be used in the
brewing or distilling process. Modules like

WaterPAK use the heat from ModuCORE to
generate up to 6,000 gallons clean, potable water.

ModuCORE is more efficient, cost effective and
versatile than other waste-to-energy systems. In

comparison to anaerobic digestion, ModuCORE
has a significantly smaller footprint, is less
susceptible to leaks and external contamination,
and releases sterilized effluents. At approximately

2.4 MMBtu/ton, ModuCORE produces up to
25% more energy than anaerobic digesters.

brewing or distilling process and requires minimal
integration effort. ®
ModuCORE is setup in a standard 40’ long HiCube shipping container (40’x8’) and can process
up to 15 tons of stillage per day with a water

content of up to 80%. ModuCORE has processing
time of only 20 minutes. It can be set up to
continuously process waste and generate steam
and/or hot water which has various uses in the
brewing or distilling process.
