ModuCORE for Layer Farms
Layers produce between 0.19 pounds of manure
per day with up to 75% moisture. A farm with
150,000 layers can produce up to 14 tons of wet
manure daily. Managing this quantity waste is
tedious and expensive with significant
environmental risks and potential penalties.

ModuCORE converts this manure into useful
energy that can be used to provide heat for the
animal housing and other ancillary purposes. It
can process up to 15 tons of manure per day with
a water content of up to 80%. Modules like
WaterPAK can generate up to 6,000 gallons clean,
potable water.

ModuCORE is more efficient, cost effective and
versatile than other waste-to-energy systems. In

comparison to anaerobic digestion, ModuCORE
has a significantly smaller footprint, is less
susceptible to leaks and external contamination,
and releases strile effluents. At approximately 2.4

MMBtu/ton, ModuCORE produces up to 25%
more energy than anaerobic digesters.
