a) The dimensions take into consideration 4 inches of extra space on both sides of the driveway to accomodate the space that the post holes will occupy.
b) This measurement allows for the required clearance needed for the gate hinge (approx. 4” clearance) and gate leading edge (approx. 1” clearance), measured from the center to the center of each post.
c) The Mighty Mule E-Z Gate is designed for a minimum of 4” from the bottom of the gate and the highest crowning point on the driveway or curb. Measuring and accounting for this is clearly shown in the installation DVD and manual and should not affect the size gate selected.
d) Gates can be installed with either a “right” or “left” handing of the hinges in order to take into consideration landscaping and curving driveways.

do-it-yourself friendly gate automation products to match your new Mighty
Mule E-Z Gate through Lowe’s, or pick them up the same day in select
stocking stores.
These systems can be tailored to your family’s needs by adding
additional remote controls, digital keypad or wireless intercom, or even power
your system using solar charging kits. Our systems were recently awarded
the Handyman Club of America – Member Tested and Recommended
endorsement for quality and ease of installation!
Mighty Mule E-Z Gate Opener Bracket
Recommended when adding automating your Mighty Mule E-Z Gate. This
bracket provides the proper stability when attaching the gate bracket of a
Mighty Mule E-Z Gate Opener to your gate, and is required to maintain your
gate warranty when automating any Mighty Mule E-Z Gate. Two brackets

Order and Have Your Gate Delivered To Your Home
See any Lowe’s associate to order your Mighty Mule E-Z Gate today and have it delivered directly to your home
anywhere within the continental US, excluding AK and HI, utilizing a lift gate truck. Standard shipping lead times are
14 - 21 days from the date of the order. Due to the nature of this product, pick up from a Lowe’s store is not available.
The customer will need to be present to accept and sign off on delivery of your gate. The customer will be contacted
approximately 1 – 3 days in advance by the freight carrier to schedule delivery, so contact phone numbers will need
to be provided (mobile, home, and/or work phone numbers) when placing the order. A Welcome Packet with the installation manual and DVD will be sent to the customer in advance of the gate being

Replaces the standard self-closing latch that comes with the walkway gates. This
automatic pedestrian gate lock is powered by four AA batteries and incoporates a 25
code digital keypad and a keyed manual release. The Bulldog is easy to install and
program for added security. Ideal for pool areas or anywhere added security is desired.
