Thermal Display Meter The thermal meter monitors your system activitiy and temperature, keeping you updated at all times. Stealthed Side Panel First Introduced on the Nemesis, the stealthed side panel is the first to hide all screws for a sleeker and cleaner look. Screwless Rail Mounting Drivebays ( 3.5”/5.25” ) Without the use of any screws, the rail mounting system offers easy and fast access to your drive bays during installation and upgrades. NZXT. 3 Power Supply Installation Please refer to the case interior infrastructure and secure the power supply at the back of the case by using the screws provided. NOTE: CPU, RAM and any peripheral installation are not included in this manual. Please refer to your motherboard manual for related mounting instructions and troubleshooting. Motherboard Installation Your Trinity supports the following motherboard: ATX, BABY AT, MINI ATX, and MICRO ATX. The Index for the standoff holes are as follows. ( Imprinted on the motherboard tray are serial numbers that match certain motherboards ) A1~A10 ATX B1~B9 MICRO ATX In order to install your motherboard go through the following steps: 1. Lay your case down so you can see the drive cages and the standoff holes on the motherboard tray. 2. Take your motherboard and match the standoff holes. 3. Remembering which standoff holes your motherboard needs, go ahead and screw the brass standoffs onto the motherboard tray. ( Note: If you find that some holes are unused, this is normal, this case is made to support for many motherboard sizes ) 4. Place your motherboard on top of the brass standoffs and attach it to the tray using screws provided. 5. Connect the 20-pin ATX power connector from your power supply (and AUX or +12V connectors if appropriate) to your motherboard. NZXT. 4 Power and Reset Switch, HDD LED Installation Please refer first to your motherboard manual to find where your power switch and reset connectors are located. 1. Connect the Reset switch (labeled RESET SW) by connecting to your motherboard RESET connector. Make sure you always attach the white wire to ground. (Blue/White) 2. Connect the Power Switch pin (labeled POWER SW) to the PWR connector on the motherboard. (Orange/White) 3. Connect the HDD LED (labeled POWER) and HDD LED connectors to the appropriate headers on your motherboard. (Red/White, +/-) All White Pin Connectors correspond to ground. USB and Audio Installation USB Installation 1. The USB is located of the ride side on your front panel. 2. Refer to your motherboard manual and match the labels on the USB port connectors with your motherboard in order to install. Audio Port Installation 1. The Audio ports are located at the right side of your front panel 2. Refer to your motherboard manual and match the labels on the audio port connectors with your motherboard in order to install. 3. The green input is the speaker input and the pink input is the microphone input. The Trinity comes with a lock on screw less rail design for fast and east installation. so you can easily pull out and replace drives. Before beginning installation, please match your devices with either 5.25”, 3.5” (FDD) or Harddrive (HDD) pictured below. Note that the rails are also labeled with the HDD and FDD. 2. The 5.25” and 3.5” drives can be screwed on manually with a screw driver if your device is not compatible with the rails. NZXT. 6 (Left to Right) 3.5”, Hard Drive,, and 5.25” devices (5.25”Devices) Step 1. Lock the hooks of the rails onto the device and push down to secure the rail. Make Sure you are attaching the right side ( the rails are labeled R for right and L for Left ). Complete this for both sides of the device Step 2. Remove the front panel by firmly pulling from the bottom of the front panel while holding your case secure. NZXT. 7 Step 3. Twist off the steel plating on the case then Slide the device into position. 3. Repeat the same process for the 3.5” drives. Secondary 3.5” Device Installation (ie HardDrives) The Trinity case allows space for four internal 3.5” Devices such as hard drives. All four devices can fit into the drive cage provided. Please follow the instructions below: 1. Attach the slides onto the side of the device similar to the 5.25” device installation. 2. Slide the device into the hard drive cage and secure. If you wish, you can also remove the hard drive cage prior to installation. (Removing the Cage) Step 1. Remove the thumbscrew securing the cage. NZXT. 8 (Removing the Cage) Step 2. Push down on tab and slide the cage out. (Installing the Device) Step 1. After attaching the rails to the two sides of the hard drive proceed to slide device in. (Installing the Device) Step 2. Push the device in until it is secure and you hear the rails lock to the cage. NZXT. 9 (Installation without Screws) Even without rails, the installation can be accomplished by matching the screw hole and locking it manually with a screwdriver. Fan Installation (Front/Rear Fan) (Installing the front fan) Slide in the fan at an angle and secure the fan with screws from the outside of the fan. Note that the front panel must be removed first in order to secure the fan. The Example displayed here is a 120mm Fan, the front has the option for 120/90/80mm. NZXT. 10 (Installing the rear fan) Follow the same instructions except the screws are now secured from the rear of the case. The rear fan also has the option for 80/90/120mm fans. (a 80mm fan is included with this case ) ( 80mm Slim Side Fan ) The Trinity case comes with the option to install a 80mm slim fan on the right side of the case ( opposite from the clear side panel ), in order to complete this installation the user will need to purchase a 80mm slim fan. The fan can be installed from the outside after removing the side panel. To secure it remove the harddrive cage and secure it from the inside of the case.
