Linda Rey
was born and raised in Sleepy Hollow, New York (formerly North
Tarrytown) and is a graduate of Pace University in Pleasantville, New York with a Business
Administration degree.
Linda has worked in the insurance profession since 1985 where she began her career working in the family business, The Rey Insurance Agency, Inc. located in Sleepy Hollow. She’s
followed in her father’s footsteps, Francisco Rey, who started in the business in 1965.
Francisco, firstgeneration American, was also born and raised in Sleepy Hollow after his
parents emigrated from Spain in 1939. Her sister, Laura Rey Iannarelli, is also in the business and started in 1995.
Linda’s contributions to the following organizations include:
o Currently serving on the Board of Directors of the Food Bank of Westchester.
o Currently serving on the Board of Directors for the Westchester County
Association.
o Past President and Vice President of the Sleepy Hollow Chamber of Commerce.
o Past Secretary on the Board of Directors for the Rotary Club of the Tarrytowns.
o Past CoEvents Chair for the National Association of Insurance and Financial
Advisors Westchester (NAIFAWestchester)
o Past Executive Board as Treasurer for the Westchester Association of Women
Business Owners (WAWBO) prior to the merger with WEDC forming the
Alliance of Hudson Valley Women Business Owners.
Linda was most recently named 2010 Outstanding Member of the Year by the Sleepy
Hollow Chamber of Commerce for her assistance in starting and growing their networking
events.
Linda has been named the 2006 Emerging Leader for the American Association of

The Make-A-Wish Foundation was founded on April 29th, 1980
when a 7 year old boy named Chris Greicius, who was battling leukemia,
had his wish granted to be an Arizona State Trooper for a day.
The Hudson Valley Chapter received its Charter in 1986 to serve eight counties in the Hudson Valley and since that time has granted close to 1,800 wishes. A staff of eight and hundreds of volunteers have a deep commitment to
the Mission-- to grant the wishes of children with life threatening medical
conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.
Right now the Chapter is working on over 130 wishes. It should be noted
that Make-A-Wish has recently signed a 10 year lease extension on the Wish
House here in Tarrytown.

Santa Fe Restaurant opened Jan. 31 in the winter of 1985 by Rick &
Janice Dumas. They moved to Tarrytown from NYC in 1977.
Rick began working in the restaurant business once he got out of the Navy in
1966. He worked in Manhattan with his father who owned a restaurant in
Greenwich Village which they eventually sold in 1969.
The rear private dining room was added to the restaurant in 1993. Their children Jennica and David have taken their turns working at SF over the years.
SF supports all local charities (too numerous to mention) with; gift certificates for raffles and/or donations. SF has sponsored a TNT baseball team
every year since its inception. He is a parishioner at Transfiguration and a
supporting member of the society of St. Vincent de Paul.
Rick is past president of (a now defunct) Main Street Merchant’s Association.
He is an avid supporter of The Tarrytown Music Hall and a 25 year member
of the NYS Restaurant Association.

In 1988, Leonard S. Schleifer, MD, PhD, left his research career at Cornell University
to create Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a biotechnology company based on the
founding principle that a dedication to strong science would lead to important new
medicines. Dr. Schleifer assembled a scientific advisory board, including three Nobel
laureates, to help guide the young company, with Dr. Schleifer serving as the
Company's Chief Executive Officer. Regeneron initially focused its efforts on discovering treatments for diseases in the brain and central nervous system, involving
the regeneration of neurons, hence the name, Regeneron.
Regeneron completed a successful initial public offering in 1991. In 1995, P. Roy
Vagelos, MD, renowned former Chairman and CEO of Merck & Co., Inc., joined
Regeneron as Chairman of the Board. Led by Chief Scientific Officer, George D.
Yancopoulos, MD, PhD, who has been with the Company since 1989, Regeneron has
developed a reputation for attracting and retaining some of the most highly respected scientific researchers in this field. The Company's founding principle has been
instrumental in creating an innovative scientific environment that encourages and
supports discovery. These discoveries have led to the development of the current

Que Chuela es Puebla (How Beautiful is Puebla) is owned by
Pablo Ilagorre and His brother, Santiago Ilagorre. They grew up in Puebla,
Mexico. Pablo moved to the United States and soon after worked in a restaurant named Brazilia for approximately five years starting in 1985. Prior to
opening Que Chula Es Puebla in 2007 he worked at Guadalajar Restaurant
located in Briarcliff Manor.
Pablo lives in Yonkers with his lovely wife Sonia. He has three wonderful
children; Paul, Angelo and Kevin. He is looking forward to introducing his
children; one by one, to the restaurant business.
Pablo enjoys the village of Sleepy Hollow and eagerly awaits enrolling his
children into the school system as he has heard many good things about the
schools and faculty.
He looks forward to the Chamber Street Fairs where his staff has presented
a wonderful selection of Mexican dishes for the last three street fairs.
