Arrive early or stay later and add on the famous Nürburgring Experience, including the
Nordschleife. Drive four laps on the Nordschleife in a race-prepared car – from a VW to
a PORSCHE 991, and take a Race Lap with a professional driver in a 991 Turbo S or GT3.
You’ll stay in a junior suite at the Dorint Hotel, overlooking the track from your terrace.
Afterwards you’ll join the TREFFEN tour feeling much more alert than the other arriving

Day 1: Tuesday, April 26th – Depart North America – Or Join Our Early Arrival Dinner
Depart from home for your overnight flight to Europe. We always recommend that you arrive a day early if
possible (i.e., leave on Wednesday, April 27th) to have some time to relax, adjust to the time change, and enjoy
the area. Call us to find out about our early arrival program. (hotel and dinner).
Day 2: Wednesday, April 27th – Arrival in Stuttgart and Mercedes Museum Tour
Upon arrival in Stuttgart, you will be met at the airport and transferred to our hotel, the Steigenberger Graf
Zeppelin Hotel. After you check in, we will meet for a Driver’s Briefing and Welcome Luncheon in one of the
hotel’s restaurants. We will complete the PORSCHE car rental paperwork before lunch.
After lunch, we will visit the Mercedes Museum for a fascinating look at the history of motor vehicles. This
evening, we’ll take our motor coach to the Stuttgarter Stäffele for a Welcome to Germany Dinner and wine
tasting. Enjoy a good night’s rest.

Day 3: Thursday, April 28th– Drive the Autobahn to - Lake Chiemsee – Salzburg (~400 kms)
Enjoy a lavish breakfast buffet at the Graf Zeppelin. Following breakfast, have your luggage ready to be loaded
on the luggage truck for transfer to Salzburg. Your PORSCHES will be lined up in the courtyard of the hotel.
We’ll introduce you to your PORSCHE, including familiarization with the PDK Transmission, the Navigation
Systems, the essential rules of the Autobahn and the various routes to be driven.
We’ll drive Autobahns and country roads on our way to Austria and the romantic city of Salzburg. Along the
way, we’ll stop on a beautiful Bavarian lake for lunch at the Schalchenhof am Chiemsee.
Upon arrival in Salzburg, we’ll check in at the elegant 5-star Hotel Sheraton in the heart of the city. Around 6pm,
we will be transported via horse-drawn carriages to St. Peters Keller, the oldest restaurant in Europe, founded in
the year 804, for a special Mozart Concert Dinner. Don’t worry - the kitchen has been updated.  You’ll enjoy
a good night’s rest at the Sheraton, located at the magnificent “Mirabell Garden.”

Day 4: Friday, April 29th – Visit Gmünd, Birthplace of PORSCHE (~ 380 kms)
Enjoy a fabulous breakfast at the Sheraton. Today will be an exciting day of driving through some of the most
spectacular scenery in Europe. We’ll drive across the Grossglockner Mountain to Gmünd in the State Kärnten.
We’ll stop for lunch at a restaurant in the nearby mountains which is located near a spectacular waterfall. After
a delicious lunch, we’ll enjoy a guided tour of the HQ of the original PORSCHE Factory from 1948 with the
curator and also visit the Pfeifhofer PORSCHE Museum. We’ll return to Salzburg in the late afternoon via the
Austrian Autobahn. NOTE: there are speed limits on the Austrian Autobahn! Tonight we’ll enjoy a raucous
evening at a rustic Austrian farmhouse, with local Zither music, dinner of local specialties with beer and wine
from the Salzburg region. We’ll return to Salzburg for a well-served night’s rest.

Day 5: Saturday, April 30th – Photo Rally & Sound of Music Sightseeing (~130 kms)
This morning, enjoy another great breakfast at the Sheraton before departing for our fun Photo Rally – always a
favorite activity! There will be a Photo Rally briefing first thing in the morning – for both drivers and navigators
where all the rules will be explained (don’t worry – it’s fun!). You’ll then leave in your PORSCHE and drive
through the spectacularly beautiful Salzkammergut Lake District looking for your rally answers. We’ll stop for
lunch at the regal Castle Fuschl overlooking Lake Fuschl where we will collect your Rally Answers – no reprieve!
After lunch, we’ll return to Salzburg where you’ll enjoy a Sound of Music Sightseeing tour in horse-drawn
carriages throughout Salzburg. You may also want to do a little shopping on the Getreidegasse, Mozartplatz or
Salzach Promenade after your tour. This evening, we will host our hilarious Rally Dinner at the Hotel Sheraton,
complete with various awards and “valuable” prizes. You’ll sleep well in Salzburg after a fun day.

Day 6: Sunday, May 1st–Drive from Salzburg - Lindau (~430 kms)
Once again, enjoy an opulent breakfast at the Hotel Sheraton. Please check out of the Sheraton Salzburg and
have your luggage ready to be loaded on to our luggage truck for transport to Lake Constance. We’ll depart in
our PORSCHES and drive over the Silvretta Alpine Pass on our way back to Germany and Bavaria. We’ll stop
along the way for lunch before continuing our exciting drive to Lake Constance. When we arrive in Lindau, a
quaint island town, we will check-in to the 5-star Bayerischer Hof Lindau on beautiful Lake Constance. This
evening, we’ll enjoy a Champagne Reception followed by gourmet dinner at the Bayerischer Hof. Enjoy
another well-deserved night’s rest.

Day 7: Monday, May 2nd– Explore Lindau – Optional Neuschwanstein Castle Drive (~214 kms)
Today is a free day to enjoy as you wish. After a delicious breakfast at the Bayerischer Hof, you may choose to
remain in Lindau and explore this lovely lakeside town with its shops and parks or pamper yourself at the spa at
the Bayerischer Hof. Or you may wish to drive to Schloss Neuschwanstein (the model for Disney’s castle). If
you would like to tour the castle, we will engage horse-drawn carriages to take you up to the castle for a private
tour. We will also arrange for your lunch at Café am Park at the foot of the castle. Tonight we will enjoy dinner
at the Bayerischer Hof before turning in for a good night of rest.

Day 8: Tuesday, May 3rd – Drive Back to Stuttgart – Return PORSCHES (~211 kms)
Enjoy another delightful breakfast at the Bayerischer Hof before checking out. Please have your luggage ready
to be put into our luggage truck. We will depart for Stuttgart, enjoying another wonderful run on the Autobahn
north towards Stuttgart. Unfortunately, you will return the PORSCHE you fell in love with in Stuttgart! Your
luggage will already be in your room when you check into the Steigenberger Hotel Graf Zeppelin. You’ll have
the remainder of the afternoon free.
This evening, we will take a short walk on the pedestrian-only Königstrasse to the Stuttgart City Hall where we
will have dinner at the traditional Ratskeller. Enjoy another good night’s rest in Germany.

Day 9: Wednesday, May 4th – PORSCHE Factory, Museum & Goodie Store
Enjoy the fantastic breakfast at the Graf Zeppelin Hotel. This morning we’ll transfer to Zuffenhausen PORSCHE
Zentrum for a guided tour of the PORSCHE Museum. We’ll have lunch at the PORSCHE Museum before our
exclusive tour of the PORSCHE Factory guided by a former PORSCHE executive. You’ll also visit some closed-tothe-public behind the scenes areas like the Neuwagenauslieferung (New Car Delivery). Tonight we’ll have a
great medievel dinner with entertainment at the famous Castle Beilstein.

Day 10: Thursday, May 5th– Stuttgart – Cannstatter Frühlingsfest (Spring Oktoberfest)
After another delicious breakfast at the Hotel Graf Zeppelin, you’ll have time this morning to stroll around in
the pedestrian zone of the city and do some great shopping. Be sure to explore the famous Saturday markets in
Stuttgart – all within walking distance of the hotel: the Flower, Farmer’s and Flea markets are not to be missed!
You should also explore the Markthalle – something you’d wish we had at home. In the late afternoon, we’ll
transfer to THE most fabulous Oktoberfest in the spring –the Frühlingsfest. Enjoy lots of beer, food, music and
revelry in our private reserved section. This event is hard to describe… You’ll witness 4,000 Germans dancing
on tables singing “Take Me Home Country Road!” Return to the hotel and sleep well!

Day 11: Friday, May 6th – Return to North America – or Continue in Europe
Enjoy another opulent breakfast at the Steigenberger Graf Zeppelin. If you are departing for North America,
you will be transferred to the Stuttgart Airport for your return flight.

Price of the 2016 PCA Spring PORSCHE TREFFEN® PLUS
$8,698 per person, based on two persons per room and PORSCHE.
NOTE! PORSCHE base rental (including 200 kms/day) and gasoline (at $8.75/gal.) are included as are all meals, fabulous
hotels, bi-lingual drive guides, walkie talkies, and insurance (with a maximum €2,000 deductible). If you need additional
room nights in Stuttgart, we will make the reservation for you at the group rate. If you prefer a single room, there is a single
supplement of $1,868 total for all hotels. If you prefer to drive a PORSCHE alone, there is a surcharge of $2,168. We will
gladly make additional PORSCHE rental OR any other trip arrangements for you before or after the TREFFEN. Excess
kilometers at €1/km, which we estimate at 351 kms over the first 1,200 kms for this trip, and traffic fines, if any, will be
charged to your credit card by the PORSCHE rental company.
