Those are two words you never thought you would see together. Boot camp gets its groove on with
Boot Camp Boogie. Join Petra in a non-stop circuit workout that alternates cardio grooves with
athletic moves. See how each segment whether it has a dance or athletic feel can all be woven
together to create a high intensity workout that is easy to follow, easy to teach and also a kicking
good time.
Medicine Ball Drills and Skills w/Keli Roberts
The Medicine Drills and Skills Program incorporates progressive core, upper body and lower body
biased physical execution techniques, plyometric progressions and exercise guidelines. This
workshop incorporates exercises and drills performed individually and with a partner, and are
suitable for both personal training and group exercise settings.
Schwinn® Cycling The Ride w/Rob Glick

Functional Integrated Training and Athletic Conditioning combines explosive movement with
strength, agility, balance and quickness drills. This workout develops integrated strength, core power

Participants will be introduced to the physiological, biomechanical, and kinesthetic awareness
principles, which form the foundation of stability ball training. Integrated with fitness training

Are you ready to work your body in a whole new way? Go beyond boring and traditional. We’ll use
only Gliding Discs, med balls, and body weight to transform your routines into integrated magic.
You’ll learn mini "plug and play" workouts for each muscle along with full body routines.
Stability Ball for Core Strength w/Robert Sherman
Stability Ball training is and intensive, hands-on lecture/workshop consisting of three training
components: Ball for body awareness and core activation, strength and power. This training covers
proper technique and progression, safety cues and adaptation for specific programs/populations.

Cycle classes are fun, athletic cardiovascular workouts. You burn a ton of calories, get lean,
increase lower body strength and improve cardiovascular endurance. But, there’s more to it than just
the science. Join Jen as she balances out the art and the science to create a rockstar cycle
experience!
Shake-n-Flow w/Jodee Hollenbeck
Let it go…forget your worries and inhibitions and just move! No right or wrong, good or bad, just
celebrating the beauty of movement. We’ll explore African, Modern, Indian, Jazz as well as other
forms of dance and movement. Everyone is a dancer- it just needs to be brought out!

Strong, Stretched and Centered w/Petra Kolber
Strengthen and stretch the body with a workout that is designed to create a strong and supple body.
Each strengthening movement will be followed by a recovery exercise that elongates the muscles

Outlast! Creating the Ultimate Endurance Ride w/Emily Booth
Do you dread the idea of teaching an endurance class? In “Outlast” you will learn how to make this
essential (but often misunderstood) ride profile a favorite for both you and your participants. In this
dynamic workshop you will learn how to plan your rides to take members on a non-stop journey that
will forever change the way they think about “endurance”.
Qigong Wake-Up Call w/Scott Cole
Invite in the new day with style and grace with Scott's exhilarating Breath and Qigong Wake-Up Call.
Moving slowly and freely in these ancient organic exercises, wake up the body and mind, while
laying a more relaxed blueprint of movement that you will be able to take with you for all activities.

This session shows that all step choreography can be constructed from one of two base moves.
Every segment of the choreography will have three levels for you to choose from so you can pick the
variation that your students will enjoy. Use a little or use it all. Build it up or break it down. It is as
simple as 1,2,3 Step.
BOSU Balance Trainer: Cardio, Core and More w/Keli Roberts
Develop muscular strength/endurance, agility, equilibrium and body control for improved posture and
alignment and a long lean mid-section. Learn innovative drills and exercises that challenge the body
through all ranges and planes of motion. Implement multi-level teaching suitable for all ages and
populations.

Eating Disorders And The Fitness Professional w/Jen Ryan
This lecture will review different types of Eating Disorders and their signs/symptom. We will discuss
these Disorders within our Students as well as the risk of these disorders for Fitness Professionals.
Reponses to Eating Disorders will also be covered.

Enter the Disco Dojo, the sacred space where dance and martial arts merge---where Ninja meets
Funk, Taekwondo meets Salsa, Kickboxing meets Jazz---all in an action-packed 1-hour
intermediate/advanced session. Mambo, kick, and punch your way through an array of fun moves to
great music, as you melt away pounds, getting leaner and stronger as you relax into “the dance.”
Rubber Resistance F.I.T…Functional Integrated Training w/Keli Roberts
This Rubber Resistance Training goes beyond the basics and examines methods and techniques
that functionally strengthen the total body with integrated exercises and drills that involve
coordination, balance, and body control. Learn critical body alignment, movement pattern and
cueing techniques for each exercise in an interactive, hands-on training session.
Progressive Yoga w/Rob Glick & Kimberly Spreen
This is a powerful yoga-themed workout designed for the fitness enthusiast who enjoys both a
mental and physical challenge. Our movement will be inspired by various forms of traditional yoga.
Presenter Bios
Keli Roberts
Keli has won numerous awards as one of the industries premiere educators including her 2008
Lifetime Achievement Award. Keli is an ACE Continuing Education Specialist who is known world
wide for her award winning videos, books and training seminars. Keli is ACSM HFI certified, and is
also certified through AFAA, ACE Group Fitness and ACE Gold Personal Trainer. She is a BOSU
Developmental Team Member, Body Bar Master Trainer and Schwinn Master Presenter.
Robert Sherman
Robert has over 25 years in fitness that and is a much sought after presenter worldwide. He holds a
BA degree in business administration and marketing from the University of Maryland, and is a Gold
Certified Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor by ACE, AFAA and ACSM. Robert was recently
published in the January 2008 Self Magazine and can be seen in numerous exercise videos and
television appearances.
Petra Kolber
Petra is a motivational speaker and International Presenter. She has choreographed and starred in
over 25 fitness videos and numerous television segments. She is currently starring in Fit TV’s All
Star Workouts and can be seen leading the latest DVD for Weight Watchers. She has received
numerous accolades for her top notch presentations including: She was nominated 2004 Best
Female Presenter of the Year by E.C.A and in 2001 was awarded IDEA Fitness Instructor of the
Year.
Rob Glick
Rob was named the 2006 International Presenter of the Year by CanFitPro and the 2005 Best Male
Presenter by ECA. He holds a B.S. in exercise science and is a continuing education provider for
both ACE and AFAA. Rob is known for creating cutting-edge education, programming and
choreography for the fitness industry as well as starring in several highly acclaimed exercise videos.
He is one of the Star Trainers on ExerciseTV and a master trainer for Schwinn Cycling, and BOSU.
Scott Cole
Scott continues to lift spirits, open minds, tone bodies, and inspire hearts through motivational
appearances throughout the world. Scott considers no audience off limits, and has dedicated his life
to increasing "wellness literacy”. Named one of the Top 5 Fitness Instructors in the world by IDEA,
Scott is an American Fitness AFAA Notable for his work with HIV/AIDS and abused children. Scott
continues to provide world-class education specializing in Tai Chi, Yoga and Stretching.
Mindy Mylrea
Mindy is the 2008 OBOW ECA Instructor of the Year, the 2004 Can Fit Pro International Presenter
of the Year, the 1999 International IDEA Fitness Instructor of the Year, a National and World Aerobic
Champion and a five star presenter for IDEA. She is an international presenter, author, motivational
speaker, video personality, and has starred in over 100 instructional videos. Mindy is the creator and
owner of FitFlix Productions, the creator of Gliding and a Schwinn® Indoor Cycling, Bosu and Body
Bar Master Trainer.
Kimberly Spreen
Kimberly is the National Group Fitness Director for Life Time Fitness. She is one of Exercise TV’s
Star Trainers and has led several popular exercise videos. Known for her passion, enthusiasm and
humor, Kimberly travels the country as a National Presenter, Motivational Speaker, SPRI Elite
Fitness Pro, GRAVITY Trainer and Continuing Education Provider for ACE, AFAA and IFTA.
Jan Johnson
Jan is a Life Time Fitness Master Instructor and Group Fitness Department Head at the White Bear
Lake club. Her education experience includes ACE, AFFA, NASM, Yogafit Levels1-4, Stott Pilates,
and RYT certifications
Kaycee Dunfield
Kaycee is currently the Fitness Department Head at Life Time Fitness. Kaycee has been a National
Trainer and Presenter and loves traveling the globe. She loves to teach and focuses on Barbell
Strength, DANCE, Step, Cardio Kickboxing, Cycle, & Pilates. She is certified by ACE, AFAA, NASM
& Stott Matt/Reformer.
Vanessa Widen
Vanessa has been teaching for more then 20 years and is the Life Time Fitness Group Fitness Dept
Head in Orland Park IL. She is the Master Instructor Team Lead for Chicago-South. Vanessa has
her B.S. in Physical Education and is ACE and AFAA Group Fitness Certified
Katie Haggerty
Katie is a Master Instructor Team Leads for the MN Region, and the Department Head for the St.
Louis Park and Saint Paul Life Time Fitness Clubs. She loves teaching various formats from Yoga,
Cycle, Strength and Athletic Training, to Step and Dance. Katie has a Kinesiology degree from the
University of Minnesota, along with an ACE Group Fitness Certification.
Jen Ryan
Jen has been Group Fitness Instructor for 21 years and is a C.E.C. provider for 15 years. Jen has
worked with Life Time Fitness for the past 14 years and is currently the Group Fitness Department
Head and National Training Coordinator She holds her masters degree in Kinesiology from the
University of MN,
Holly Krohn
Holly has is a Life Time Fitness Master Instructor Team Lead in the Ohio Region. A National Fitness
Presenter/CEC Provider and Lemond Cycling Master Trainer, She earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree
in Exercise Science from Youngstown State University in Ohio. Holly also holds certifications from
ACE and AFAA in Group Fitness and NASM in Personal Training.
Emily Booth
Emily graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a Bachelor’s degree in Musical
Performance. She has presented workshops as a Master Trainer for numerous fitness organizations
and been a program director, instructor, and personal trainer.
Donna Thomas
Donna is a 15 year veteran of the fitness field. As a National Training Coordinator for Life Time
Fitness, Group Fitness Department Head and continuing education provider for ACE and AFAA,
Donna has been using humor and education to empower herself, her staff and her students.
Jodee Thomas Hollenbeck
Jodee is the Group Fitness Department Head at the Life Time Fitness in Coon Rapids. She is a
Master Instructor Team Lead in the MN region and is also a Certified Personal Trainer, Group
Fitness Instructor, as well as Pilates and Yoga teacher. Her passions include dance, running,
triathlons and inspiring others to live a full, healthy life that includes exercise and play.
Julie Wilkes
Julie has a Master of Arts degree in Exercise Physiology from The Ohio State University and has
taught group fitness for over 14 years. She has group fitness certifications from ACE and AFAA.
She has toured the country teaching her Core Results program, Kickboxing and more.
