The distinguishing features of Type M step feeder Steps - width of steps: 200 or 400 mm - low maintenance and wear and tear - adjustable overrun ways avoid work pieces and parts from getting jammed Flexible feeding height The feeding height of 1040 mm will be reached with 3 steps 1240 mm with 4 steps and 1440 mm with 5 steps Electromagnetic vibration track "KOEBRATOR" Low filling height - vibration free storage hopper - absolutely quiet driver by patented vibration mechanism - low power consumption - adjustable feeding rate - integrated storage track - accurate interface from the storage track discharge point. of 640 mm: necessary for ergonomic working Base plate - Sheet metal skirt on the base plate to prevent trap points - little space requirement: the base plate measures only 550 x 750 mm - accident protection: internal levelling screws reduce the danger of accidents - easy to clean Stepfeeder Type M By means of reciprocating plates the components are transferred from the storage hopper or belt onto linear driven orientation tooling. The plates are moved by slides mounted on roller bearings. Thanks to this special design their smooth action handles the components gently, in turn generating very little noise. The thickness of the plates is variable, which combined with a range of widths allows the metering and some pre-orientation of the 1 components before presentation to the orientation tooling. On the electromagnetic or pneumatic driven linear orientation track, which may be variable in length and width, final orientation of components is achieved. Left or right hand exit is available. The linear driver allows for the fitting of in-line tooling and storage track(s) allowing the accurate interface of exchangeable or replacement parts. The integrated storage track ensures a constant supply of components. Excess or non-oriented parts are returned to the storage hopper or belt via a return slide or represented to the orientation tooling by a re-cycling conveyor.
