Know God, Know His Mercy
Know God, Know His Mercy is a men’s retreat. Offered
during this Extraordinary Jubilee of Mercy as announced
by Pope Francis. As we prepare for Easter through prayer,
scripture, music, talks and discussion, we will develop the
biblical theme chosen by our Holy Father from Luke 6:36,
“Be merciful as your Father is merciful”. There is no cost to
participants, however a free will offering will be taken to
help defray some of the costs.

Faith Moment Reflection — In the second reading today, St. Paul
speaks of the one body of Christ to which all Christians belong.
His comparison of our faith community to a body made up of
many parts—with non being less important than another—is a
great lesson in how we are to live. Each one of us makes up the
whole that God has planned. The eye sees, the hand embraces,
the ear hears. But by joining together and sharing our gifts and
talents, we achieve far more than if we act alone. St. Paul notes
there is to be no division of the body. If one part suffers, all parts
suffer with it. If one part is honored, all parts share its joy.
When we support and cherish one another we will find joy in the
wholeness God intends.
