About the process
By choosing LED technology, SeaMAID is able to offer new, safe lighting
solutions that do not heat up or dazzle bathers.
SeaMAID does not stop there and, faced with global environmental
challenges, undertakes to develop and manufacture luminaires compliant
with ecodesign requirements applicable to energy products.
SEAMAID products comply with European regulations 1194/2012 and
874/2012.
About the market
Europe has more than four million pools, most of which are fitted with PAR
56 projectors with 300-watt incandescent lamps.
Due to their high energy consumption, they need to be replaced frequently
and the heat they emit can be dangerous if they come into direct contact
with the skin.
By building a pool with a SeaMAID projector, you:
• Save on material costs: a 2x1.5 mm² cable connected to the electric panel
and a 50W toroidal transformer are all that is needed to power a
SeaMAID projector (instead of a minimum of 2x6mm² and 300W for an
incandescent lamp).
• Install with no fuss: installing a SeaMAID projector does not require any
specific tools, and because it is so quick to install, you also save on
labour costs.
By replacing a 300-Watt incandescent lamp with a SeaMAID PAR56, you:
• Save energy: a SeaMAID colour projector is 60 times less expensive to light
compared with an incandescent lamp!
• Save on replacement costs: a LED projector lasts much longer.

Two terminals with screws moulded into the cup provide a rock-solid
connection to the 12-volt power cable connection.

underwater lighting, spreads light around the pool evenly and excellently

These pool projectors must be connected to a two-coil insulated safety transformer that is at
least 20% more powerful than the total absorbed power.
It is important to check the compatibility of the vacuum fitting before finalising installation.
Certain models equipped with a stop thread are not suitable.
The wall fitting will be connected to the connection box with watertight conduit. Using SeaMAID
connection accessories to guarantee a completely waterproof installation is recommended.
Roll the extra cable up in the connection box to ensure that you will be able to replace the
projector in the future out of the water.
For an above ground pool, preferably use the SeaMAID supply box, specially designed to
supply electricity to LED projectors.

The SeaMAID stainless steel projector
is designed for lighting up large
landscapes, walls and rocky areas.
It can harmonize the garden and the
pool lighting, and can also be placed
underwater to light up a fountain or an
ornamental pond.
The SeaMAID stainless steel projector is:

both harmonious and powerful.

Its LED light source means that major energy savings can be made by users

A 2x1.5mm² power cable connected to a 20W toroidal safety transformer is all
that is needed to install a SeaMAID stainless steel projector (savings in labour
and materials).

The SeaMAID stainless steel bollard is
designed to light the surroundings of the
pool, and marks out paths and gardens.
It can be installed separately by using
a specific ~220V/12V power unit or as
a complement to an existing pool light.
The SeaMAID stainless steel bollard is:

Made from 316L stainless steel, it has excellent resistance to outdoor corrosion.
Its built-in reflective light system brings powerful and harmonious results.
Economical:
A 2x1.5mm² power cable connected to a 50W toroidal safety transformer is
all that is needed to install a SeaMAID stainless steel bollard (savings in labour
and materials).
Practical:
The light head can be replaced easily without taking the bollard down. It can
be installed on hard ground as well as in soil (grass plug provided).

The SeaMAID remote control switch can only be powered at low voltage ~12 V. Never

When using for the first time, it is necessary to pair the remote control provided with each
unit.
Specially designed to only work with projectors from the SeaMAID range, the remote control switches
are not compatible with equipment from other brands.
