What can I expect today?
PRESERVICE INSTRUMENTAL - A few minutes before the service our worship
team will play an instrumental to signal the beginning of the service. This is a
great time to move into the auditorium and prepare your heart for receiving all
that God has in store today.
WORSHIP & COMMUNION - We begin our time together each week
participating in musical expression of worship to God. As part of our worship we
will also be receiving Communion. Feel free to join us in receiving God’s grace as
we participate in taking the elements.
WELCOME, ANNOUNCEMENTS & OFFERING - There will be a brief presentation
of announcements about what is going on at Cobb Vineyard. There will also be
an opportunity to continue our worship through giving.
MESSAGE - Our Pastor, Thomas Cooley will present a sermon from our current
series “Look Who’s Talking”. Scriptures and main points can be viewed on the
screen. There is a place on the back of the bulletin for you to take notes if you wish.
PRAYER - At the conclusion of our service there is an opportunity for anyone in
attendance to receive prayer for healing, forgiveness, or any other special need.

Come enjoy a night of musical entertainment & participate in a silent auction!

Perspectives – Sunday August 28 6 - 9 PM
Perspectives on the World Christian Movement is a 15-week discipleship course
that will change the way you view the world around you. Class begins Sunday,
August 28 and ends Sunday, December 11. Registration is $295 and is open to
ages 18 & up. Free childcare will be provided. For more details or to register

Kennesaw’s Pigs & Peaches – Friday, August 26 & Saturday, August 27
Join us for Kennesaw’s biggest event of the year! We have the opportunity to
serve our community and impact the anticipated 60,000 attenders over 2 days.
We will be hosting the kid’s craft stations on Friday night and all day Saturday!
Located at Adam’s Park 2600 Park Dr. Kennesaw, GA 30144. Sign up on our

Your children will meet other children their age and learn about God’s love in a
way that is fun and exciting. We have classes for toddlers through 5th grade and
a nursery for younger children.

Grow Groups – Continue Tonight at 6:15 PM
Our Grow Groups continue this evening. We have two groups that will be
offered: Connect Track and Keys to a Powerful Prayer Life led by Ken Browning.
Grow Groups will continue Sunday nights throughout the month of August.
Childcare will be provided.

Third Thursday Prayer & Praise – This Week, August 18 7 - 9 PM
Join us this Thursday evening as we spend a few hours in prayer and worship
together.
Small Group Kick Off – Sunday, August 28
Our fall semester of Small Groups will kick-off on Sunday, August 28 during our
Sunday service. We will introduce our Small Group leaders and present
information on our home groups, age specific groups, growth groups, activity
groups, bible studies, men’s and women’s groups and specialty groups.
