I was very pleased to see 140+ attendees at our Conference held in New Bern this past May. This was the first conference collaboration between EDNCPHA and NCPHA. I hope that everyone who attended found it to be both informative and educational. Public Health continues to experience challenges and changes on the State and Local levels. This conference allows us as Public Health employees a chance to network, gain knowledge; and form partnerships as well as friendships. I encourage you as members to invite at least one person from your agency to attend this upcoming conference. The Executive Committee is currently working on the 2016 Conference which will be held May 11-13 at Nags Head (Ramada Plaza Nags Head Oceanfront). We strive to look for ways to make our Association stronger and Public Health positive, so any suggestions are welcome. A block of rooms has already been reserved so make your reservations now! I am looking forward to a great conference and the opportunity to see you all again. There’s integrated telehealth and care management for those with chronic disease; care coordination and home telehealth; diagnosing concussions on the side lines of high school football using telehealth; and even Walmart has a new app. A revolution has started and where is public health?
