forging brasses, Rautomead
machines may be fed directly
with heat-weighed batches,

or with molten metal from
a separate melting furnace.
Alloys are produced as “semi-finished” bars,
sections and flats and may be solid or hollow,
according to end-use. Product finishing
can include automatic cut-to-length, endchamfering, bar identification marking,
straightening and bundling.
End-uses of continuous cast copper alloys
include copper, bronze and brass in the
plumbing, electrical and gas industries,
as well as architectural, automotive, aerospace
and general engineering components.
