ON TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 2nd, OR ON YOUR
Life is uncertain. No one knows when they will get sick, have a financial reversal, or face a personal crisis. But for 18 years we have been able to count on one thing —in our District Court, Judge Michael A. Martone has been there for our community, making wise and just decisions. Beyond the courtroom, Judge Martone appears before our children, so they are less likely to appear before him. • Courageous Decisions—In Judge Martone’s nationally recognized program, kids are given the tools to counter peer pressure to drink or use drugs. • Courageous Persuaders—This innovative program awards scholarships to kids for spreading the message that drug and alcohol abuse is the wrong choice. • Court in Schools—Judge Martone’s program has taught over 225,000 schoolchildren about the legal system in an interactive way that impacts their lives. Judge Martone also displays courage in his own life and serves as an example in our community. Growing up without a father, he put himself through college and law school through hard work and perseverance. He has successfully fought serious illness and is back handling a full docket ahead of schedule and is still working on new innovations, like a proposed Veterans Court to help veterans suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. ON TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 2nd, OR ON YOUR ABSENTEE BALLOT, MAKE THE RIGHT DECISION. KEEP JUDGE MICHAEL MARTONE MAKING THE COURAGEOUS DECISIONS IN OUR DISTRICT COURT.
