Anytime tickets allow you to use any train for a single
or return journey.
Off-peak tickets are for travel after the morning rush
hour. There is also a range of railcards, offering up to
1/3 off the cost of travel. Apply for these at any staffed
station or online. Visit railcard.co.uk for details.
GroupSave is a discounted ticket available on selected
off-peak services. On the Crewe-Derby service, GroupSave
gives a 34% discount on the adult fare for groups of 3 to 9
people travelling together. Up to 4 accompanying children
travel for £1 each.
Season tickets are available for periods between 1 week
and 1 year, offering good value if you travel almost every
day, especially if you need to travel during peak hours. The
first time you buy a season ticket, take a passport-sized
photograph of yourself to a station ticket office. (1 week
season ticket renewals can be purchased on board).

THE NORTH
STAFFORDSHIRE
LINE,
your hourly service from Crewe, via Stoke-onTrent, to Derby, linking the East Midlands with
the Potteries, Cheshire and further afield.
The route takes you to a variety of top UK
tourist attractions, from atmospheric castles and
historic houses to rollercoasters and the races.
It is also the starting point to many major UK
cities and holiday destinations, both at home
and abroad. Crewe is your gateway for
frequent connections to Chester and North
Wales. There’s also a direct service to
Manchester Airport or to Liverpool South
Parkway for John Lennon Airport.
From Stoke-on-Trent you can travel direct to
Birmingham, Manchester and London Euston,
as well as the South West. Derby connects you
to Nottingham, the Peaks, Skegness and London
St Pancras International, gateway to Europe via
Eurostar. It also provides you easy access, via
frequent shuttle bus, to East Midlands Airport.
