A Message from the Head of School
Dear Friends and Family of Wyndcroft,
It is with great honor and pride that I welcome you home to
our 24th Annual Extravaganza & Auction. This evening of
fun-filled socializing emphasizes the reason we are all here
tonight: to support our wonderful school. We are thrilled
to host this year’s event at school - right where it all
happens!
The financial support the Auction provides is extremely
important.
All Wyndcroft children benefit from the
substantial contribution this evening makes to the School.
Wyndcroft relies on the proceeds from this event to help close the gap between tuition and the
true cost of educating our children in the Wyndcroft tradition.
We have many to thank for this remarkable event. Under the careful direction of Susan
Rutherford, Director of Development, our dedicated co-chairs, Halina Laporta, Erica Logar, and
Dana Mullaney have worked tirelessly and graciously in preparation for the evening. We also
thank the WPTO leaders and the dozens of volunteers who have worked for months to make this
gala unforgettable. Most of all, we thank YOU – the parents, trustees, alumni, faculty and
friends who attend our Extravaganza & Auction.

1. All sales are FINAL. No REFUNDS.
2. The Wyndcroft School will not be responsible for
unclaimed purchases left at The Wyndcroft School.
3. The Wyndcroft School will not be responsible for
personal belongings. We ask that you guard your
valuables.
4. This is an auction with certain reserves (minimums).
The seller, or persons on behalf of the seller, may be
bidding upon items sold at the auction. The Auction
Committee reserves the right to bid on items that do not
bring the minimum consignment cost.
5. The Wyndcroft School requires that all winning bids
be paid in full on May 2, 2015. Payment may be made
by cash, check, VISA or MasterCard. Checks are to be
made payable to The Wyndcroft School.
6.
The Auction Committee has endeavored to
catalogue and describe the items and services correctly,
and everything is sold “as is.” Certain auction
items/services may have restrictive use or
qualifications, which may affect the value or use to the
bidder. Terms set forth are non-negotiable.
3. Items in the Silent Auction have bid sheets nearby.
Persons desiring to bid may do so by writing their bid
number next to the bid amount on each respective
sheet.
4. To be valid, a bid must exceed the previous bid by
the stated minimum increase.
5. The Silent Auction tables will close at announced
intervals during the evening.
6. Only an authorized Auction Committee member
may nullify a bid and may do so for the following
reasons:
 Lack of a minimum raise
 Failure to write the bid number
 Illegible writing
 Restricting access to the table immediately
prior to closing
 Additions of bid after tables have closed.
7. In the event of a dispute, the Director of
Development shall act as the final authority and will
determine the winner.
LIVE AUCTION RULES
7. The Auction Committee and The Wyndcroft School
offer no expressed or implied warranties with respect to
any item or services offered for bidding.
1. The Live Auction will begin at 9:00 PM and will
run until approximately 10:30 PM or until all items
have been auctioned.
8. Values set forth on items being auctioned are
donor’s estimates or manufacturer’s suggested retail
price and are not warranted by the Auction Committee
or The Wyndcroft School.
2. All bidding will require a bid number. The
personal bid number is located on the program label.
9. Unless otherwise specified, all auction items and
services must be used within one year from the date
of the auction, May 2, 2015.
10. All auction items are to be removed from the
premises by the close of the evening, unless other
arrangements have been made with the Auction
Committee.
SILENT AUCTION RULES
1. The Silent Auction will begin at 6:30 PM and will
consist of written bidding on items displayed or
described on the silent auction tables.
2. All bidding will require a bid number. The personal
bid number is located on the program label.
3. To enter a bid during the Live Auction, raise your
bidding number high to attract the auctioneer’s
attention. This must be repeated each time you
initiate or increase a bid. Each bid legally obligates
the bidder to pay his/her bid price in full if his/her bid
is deemed the high bid at the fall of the auctioneer’s
hammer. If you wish, you may wait until the end of
the evening and pay for all of your purchases at once.
4. The high bidder will be acknowledged by the
auctioneer. If the auctioneer determines that an
opening bid or any subsequent bid is not
commensurate with the value of the item offered, he
may reject the same and withdraw the item from the
sale. The auctioneer reserves the right to announce
conditions of sale during the auction. In the event of
any dispute, the auctioneer will have the sole and
final discretion.

Tour. Donated by Taylor Swift, these tickets are for Friday, June 12 to sing your heart out. Tickets are
from her special ticket holds so they are in a good location, usually close to the stage in the lower bowl
area. Taylor is a seven-time Grammy winner, a 2015 recipient of the Milestone Award from the
Academy of Country Music, and the best-selling digital music artist of all time. Taylor attended
Wyndcroft from 1996-2000. Included is luxury transportation by Mercedes Limo Coach. The limousine
is reserved for an eight hour ride, holds up to 14 passengers, includes two 42" tv monitors, music,
snacks and beverages to your destination.
