These days it seems
easier to win a Formula
One Grand Prix than to
produce a 1:12th scale kit
of any Formula One
subject!
Last year however, we
got lucky and the drought
ended, at least for a little
while. Revell’s
commitment to releasing
an F2002 in 1:12th scale
was a very pleasant
surprise and for most of
us, long over due.
Scale Motorsport
however wanted to put
it’s stamp on the Revell
kit so we jumped at the
opportunity to add our
talents and expertise.
The result is the Super
Detail Kit you now hold
in your hands.
In addition to our beautiful turned Aluminum
parts and photoetch,
we’ve added a spectacular decal sheet, the only
decal sheet that got the
Vodafone’s right!

Templated Carbon Fiber Decals
Your Ferrari F2002 Super Detail Kit
comes with four (5) sheets of decals.
Four (4) of the sheets are templated
composite fiber decals. Each template
is numbered to correspond to the
matching Revell part number.
Remember because the templates
are printed on the reverse side of the
decal sheet they appear in reverse,
so that when turned over they should
match the part with just a small extra
amount around the edges.
When working with composite
fiber decals we recommend using
Microscale’s Micro Set Softening
solution and a hand held hair dryer
1200 watts or smaller. Visit
www.scalemotorsport.com and look for
the Tips and Techniques section under
‘Other Great Stuff’ tab on the Home
Page. A step by step tutorial will show
you how to apply our decals perfectly
the first time.
