Tamrac’s Evolution 8 provides unprecedented versatility to many photographers, due to
a variety of carrying styles and numerous ways to quickly access camera equipment. An
abundance of pockets, slots and compartments furthermore allows the photographer to
carry an organized amount of camera equipment plus a laptop.

Carrying Options
Evolution 8 can worn several ways. It can be worn as a traditional backpack, with the
photographer using 2 shoulder straps and a hip belt for fit and comfort. Evolution 8 can
also be converted to either a right shoulder slingpack or a left shoulder slingpack.

Options to Carry Camera Equipment
Photographers can access their photo equipment in a variety of ways. In some cases, it
is easier to access via the front slot, so one has a complete overview of their gear, such as
all the lenses they have packed for a certain trip. In other cases, while on foot, it might
be advantageous to have a fast access to your camera in order not to miss an
unexpected photo opportunity. In such case, access via the side doors will provide
immediate access to either camera or accessories such as a flash or a different lens. Fast

Evolution 8 can accommodate a large quantity of photo equipment. It is large enough
to accommodate a pro DSLR with a 70-200/f2.8 lens attached, 2-3 additional lenses, a
flash or a small second camera body.

Top Compartment
The top compartment is fully padded and can host personal items or extra camera gear
or a camcorder.
Laptop Compartment
The laptop compartment on the back is fully padded (not only on the sides but also
bottom and top) and can host a 15.6” laptop computer comfortably.

Evolution 8 has a quick access tripod attachment system, accommodating a wide
variety of tripods.

A rain cover to protect your camera from extreme weather conditions is
