Roatán: surprisingly unexpected.
Roatan is located on the Western Caribbean Sea, just off the coast of Honduras. It is the largest of the Bay
Islands of which Utila, Guanaja and the Cayos Cochinos are also a part of. Famous for its amazing reef
formations, Roatan has gained popularity lately as an ideal vacation, retirement and investment destination. A
long way from a little fishing village not too long ago.
The beauty of Roatan lies as much under, as above the water. The densely
populated corals underneath are matched by lush tropical vegetation on the
mountain ridge that makes up the island. The lifestyle is very laid back and the
local population is very friendly towards visitors. Roatan is easily reachable by
direct flights from Houston, Atlanta, San Salvador; charter flights from Toronto
(Canada) and Milan (Italy); and connecting flights from most of the main hubs
in the U.S.A and Latin America via Honduras’ main airports in Tegucigalpa and
San Pedro Sula. Also, all of the main cruise ship companies make regular
scheduled calls into Roatan, reaching over 300 ships per year, which makes the island one of the top destinations
in the Caribbean for this segment. Several of the guests who visit Roatan for a day on a cruise ship return to the
island on a longer vacation shortly after. Activities on the island include diving, snorkeling, fishing (flats, deep
sea, bottom), canopy, shopping, buggy trips, dolphin encounters, golf at the new Black Pearl course, the Roatan

on your trip to Roatan. Enjoy the sea on a

Fishing and Offshore Fishing. Permit, Bonefish
and Tarpon inhabit the many flats around the
island; and Tuna, Wahoo, Mahi-Mahi and even

UNDERWATER ADVENTURES
Since the 1960’s when famous explorer Cousteau explored Roatan's waters, the island has been a
well known underwater destination for discerned divers looking for pristine reefs with varied
topography and plenty of marine life.
Through our underwater adventures you will be able to
discover amazing snorkel locations either on our coral gardens, reef or even at the Underwater
Museum where you can see sunken artifacts that tell the story of the island.
Last but most

FISHING IN ROATAN
Wether you are looking to spend a half day, full day or several days fishing, the waters of Roatan
will offer a great experience. You can enjoy fly fishing for Bonefish, Permit and Tarpon at topnotch locations; bottom fishing for Snapper and Grouper; and offshore fishing for Tuna (black and
yellowfin), Wahoo, Dorado (Mahi-Mahi), and Marlin (mostly blues). We own and operate several
sizes of boats to accommodate your preference and party size, and use only the best equipment
available on the market.
We have also partnered with Mango Creek Lodge, a specialized fly
fishing operation on the island to bring you the best the sport has to offer! We strictly follow CPR
(Catch-Picture-Release) for billfish and protected species.

The Roatan Institute of Marine Sciences - RIMS - is a leading entity in the Caribbean for the study,
welfare and protection of Dolphins.
Their facilities are home to over a dozen of these highly-
sociable and intelligent creatures and the programs below allow you to learn and interact with
them in a fun and safe environment for both you and the animals. And if your interest in dolphins

For the adventurous at heart, zip lines are always a fun adventure to enjoy! Roatan offers several
zip line and canopy tour companies, and we have selected the better ones to work with based on
location, quality of service and equipment… and most importantly SAFETY! By safe we mean
built and inspected by professionals, top of the line equipment, double-cable systems and highly
trained staff that will allow you to enjoy the magnificent views Roatan has to offer! Adding a zip
line tour to your island or shopping tour will prove to be a great way to spend your day.

recommend taking the west side island & beach tour, doing a zip line and spending some time at
the famous West Bay Beach before returning to the comforts of Pristine Bay.

Many guests in Roatan rent their own vehicles or scooters. This is why many of our services do
not include transportation. If you require transportation for any of the services offered, simply let
